The 2024 NASCAR season is right around the corner, as the official opening weekend at Daytona International Speedway is under one week away. Currently, NASCAR teams and drivers are announcing deals, plus anything else that may need to be revealed before the new campaign. However, the race tracks have joined the effort with a recent announcement.
On Wednesday afternoon, Talladega Superspeedway shockingly announced that it has changed its logo for the 2024 season. The logo will look similar to other race tracks and feature a simple design with a red “Talladega” plastered over an outline of the race track. This came as a shock due to the previous logo’s iconic nature.
Built to be big. Built to be bad. Built to be fast. A new look but the same intense racing! pic.twitter.com/MCmj49HCR1

It is a modern approach to Talladega’s logo but one that has angered some race fans. They believe Talladega should have kept its iconic logo. Still, the new look is a modern and sharp design that matches the intensity of the speedway very well. Either way, Talladega is the same race track, and a new look doesn’t hurt in 2024.
