The Falcons were rumored to be shopping defensive end Takk McKinley ahead of this Tuesday’s trade deadline, but McKinley himself has put an end to the speculation on Twitter.
The @AtlantaFalcons aren’t trading me. They have declined a handful of offers.

According to McKinley, a first-round pick in 2017, Atlanta has received multiple offers and turned them down.
Jason Butt of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the team wasn’t getting adequate compensation and will most likely keep McKinley, who’s in the final year of his rookie contract.
This morning, a source said nothing changed from late last week when it came to the compensation being offered for Takk McKinley. Although there’s still time before tomorrow’s trade deadline, it looks like Takk is staying in Atlanta for the rest of the year.

The Falcons declined McKinley’s fifth-year option during the offseason.
