Taking a look at Florida’s depth chart heading into Week 6 vs. Vanderbilt

Florida is hosting the Vanderbilt Commodores this weeend, but the Gators are a bit banged up after a battle with Kentucky.

Florida’s Week 6 depth chart is now available, and once again the Gators are a bit banged up heading into the weekend.

Running back Trevor Etienne, left tackle Austin Barber, center Kingsley Eguakun, tight end Jonathan Odom and receiver Caleb Douglas all joined the injury report this week. Douglas is the only player officially ruled out as of Wednesday, making the others game-time decisions.

Kahleil Jackson is starting in place of Douglas, and Zak Sedaros has moved up to a third-string spot. Eguakun isn’t listed as the starting center. Jake Slaughter would get the nod in that case.

Fortunately, tight end Tony Livingston is healthy again, as is receiver Marcus Burke. Tahi Chiaokhiao-Bowman remains questionable with a lower-body injury, though.

On defense, only Miguel Mitchell has been added to the injury report. He’s questionable with a lower-body injury, and Ja’Markis Weston remains out with an upper-body injury.

Safety Kamari Wilson is still notably absent from the depth chart, and defensive end Will Norman is no longer listed as the third-string option.
