Michigan State football received some good news on Saturday evening regarding an edge rusher prospect they’re pursuing in the 2023 class.

Three-star edge rusher Zachariah Keith of Douglasville, Ga. released a top 12 list on Saturday, on which Michigan State was included. The Spartans were joined by Tennessee, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Buffalo, Memphis, UCF, West Virginia, Indiana, Mississippi State, Missouri and Jackson State.

Keith is ranked as the No. 55 edge rusher by 247Sports in the 2023 class. He’s also listed as the No. 879 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the class.

Keith is one of many Georgia prospects the Spartans have been targeting so it’s great to see Michigan State as part of his top 12 schools list. We’ll see where Michigan State ends up, but this is a good start for the Spartans.
