During the Wisconsin Badgers’ 20-17 victory over rival Minnesota, quarterback Graham Mertz missed much of the second half after suffering an injury during a red zone rush attempt.
Despite the injury, Mertz was still listed as the starter on the team’s depth chart that was released a few days ago, so signs were pointing towards the redshirt freshman being able to suit up for the team’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl matchup against Wake Forest.

Today that news was confirmed, as the Badger quarterback said during a press conference that he’s “good to go” for Wednesday’s game.

We now await the status of wide receivers Kendric Pryor and Danny Davis—players who have missed the last several weeks but, as they have been all season, were still included in the team’s two-deep.
The Badgers and Demon Deacons are set to kick off on December 30 at 11 a.m. CST as each team looks to finish the season above .500.
