As current Wisconsin football players wonder what comes next, the future of the program has already been showing out on the gridiron in 2020. While the Badgers and the Big Ten have postponed football this fall, many high schools are already in the midst of their 2020 season. For 2021 Wisconsin RB commit Antwan Roberts, the first two games of his senior season have been nothing short of electrifying.
The Tennessee native has been the heart and soul of his Pope John Paul II team, en route to a 2-0 start. Per Jake Kocorowski of AllBadgers.com, who spoke with Roberts’ head coach Justin Geisinger, Roberts already has 54 carries for 384 yards (7.1 yards per carry) to go along with nine touchdowns. With wins over Lipscomb Academy and Smyrna per MaxPreps.com, the future Wisconsin back has lead the Knights to an undefeated start headed into week three.
