Former Oregon strength coach Aaron Feld releases heartfelt letter to Duck fans

From the handlebar mustache to his “Fill the Sleeve” challenges, Coach Feld’s time at Oregon was truly something to behold.

It’s rare in college football that a fanbase falls in love with a strength and conditioning coach, but that’s absolutely what happened with the Oregon Ducks and Aaron Feld.

Maybe it was his grandiose handlebar mustache that opened the door to a fun relationship being possible, but it was his outsized personality that really fueled the fire in Eugene. That’s saying something, too, because you take one look at Feld and realize what a large man he is, and anyone who participated in his “Fill the Sleeve” challenges over the years can tell you that he wasn’t shy about letting you know.

“I wish you nothing but success and tight sleeves in all of your futures,” Feld wrote on social media.

A perfect way to end his time at Oregon.

Report: Oregon Ducks targeting Ole Miss strength and conditioning coach Wilson Love

It’s going to be hard to replace Aaron Feld, but a new report shows that the Ducks might be targeting Wilson Love from Ole Miss to do so.

According to a new report, it looks like Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are zeroing in on their targets for a new strength and conditioning coach, with sites reportedly set on Ole Miss’s Wilson Love to be the next guy.

Love once played at Alabama and was the Crimson Tide’s No. 2 strength coach before leaving to join Florida Atlantic. He has been Lane Kiffin’s head strength and conditioning coach at both FAU and Ole Miss.

If the Ducks were to hire Love, he would be replacing Aaron Feld as the head strength coach in Eugene, and have big shoes to fill at that. Feld grew into internet fame several years ago when his obscure handlebar mustache caused him to stand out on the sidelines during an Alabama championship game. His hiring at Oregon was well-received by the fanbase, to say the least.
