The UCLA Bruins men’s basketball program continues to work magic in the transfer portal. Recently, they got a commitment from South Dakota State transfer William Kyle III.

Kyle brings a lot of athleticism to the roster and should see a large chunk of minutes with Adem Bona entering the NBA Draft. It is yet another big pickup by Mick Cronin, and fans had him trending after his transfer portal haul.

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team’s coaching staff has been in contact with South Dakota State transfer forward William Kyle III.

The forward entered the transfer portal Monday and within 24 hours, he’s heard from a laundry list of programs already. Kyle III is coming off of a sophomore season with the Jackrabbits where he scored 13.1 points per game while also adding 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per contest.

A former teammate of Chucky Hepburn in high school, Kyle III would provide the Badgers will an immediate established option to replace forward Tyler Wahl (graduated) alongside Steven Crowl in Wisconsin’s frontcourt next season.

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball offseason is underway with the NCAA transfer portal immediately heating up.

South Dakota State forward William Kyle III announced his entry into the transfer portal on Monday, and he has a strong connection with the Badgers’ point guard Chucky Hepburn.

The two players were teammates in high school in Bellevue, Nebraska, and Kyle could be a perfect fit for the hole graduating forward Tyler Wahl is leaving in Wisconsin’s frontcourt.

The 6-foot-9, 230-pound athlete spent two seasons with the Jackrabbits, most recently averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in his sophomore campaign.
