There’s an unspoken mystic surrounding playoff football in Green Bay. The Frozen Tundra has been the sight of some truly memorable moments in the sport’s long history. When these two talented teams come together, it could produce another classic. 

The home team will have revenge on its mind. In that infamous 2014 matchup, the Packers blew a 16-0 lead to eventually fall to Russell Wilson’s heroics in overtime and lose out on a spot in the Super Bowl. Wilson’s walk-off 35-yard touchdown strike on the first possession broke the hearts of Cheeseheads everywhere. 

The No. 2 seed Packers will have the home-field advantage and have the fresher legs after getting a weekend off. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are coming off a hard fought, close 17-9 win in Philadelphia. The wear and tear of recovery and travel that comes with being a higher seed could be a factor. However, sometimes having that time off can lead to rust while the team coming off a win has momentum on its side.
