Demarcus Robinson a name to watch for the Eagles in 2020 free agency

Eagles expected to pursue WR Demarcus Robinson in free agency

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to undergo some scathing changes on both sides of the ball and with almost $41 million in salary-cap space, Howie Roseman and company have the ability to get creative in adding playmakers to the offensive side of the ball.

With Carson Wentz basically carrying the Eagles to their third straight playoff berth, it’ll be imperative for the front office to surround their franchise quarterback with a variety of weapons, that won’t necessarily break the bank.

Greg Ward showed that he can handle the work in the slot, while DeSean Jackson is expected to return healthy in 2020. Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert help form the best tight end tandem in the NFL, while Alshon Jeffery is hoping to return to his 2018 form.

With Nelson Agholor expected to move on in free agency, Chiefs free agent wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is a name to watch moving forward per Jeff McLane of The Inquirer.

A core member of the Chiefs dynamic Super Bowl offense, Robinson caught the Eagles eye during the 2016 NFL Draft process, and during four seasons with Kansas City, amasses 75 catches for 949 yards and eight touchdowns.

During the 2019 NFL season when Tyreek Hill missed four games with an injury, Robinson thrived in his absence, catching 16 passes for 281 yards and four touchdowns.
