Georgia Southern will be making its first bowl appearance in school history when it meets Buffalo in the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama.

The Georgia Southern Eagles, who are part of the Sun Belt Conference, finished the regular season with an 84 record. The Eagles were led by head coach Chad Lunsford, who has been at the helm since the 2017 season. On the other side of the field will be the Buffalo Bulls from the MAC after finishing the regular season with a 75 record and has made two previous bowl appearances in the past three years.
