Suns vs. Warriors: How to watch, lineups, injury reports and broadcast for Tuesday

Before the Warriors host the Suns, here’s everything you need to know for Tuesday’s contest, including how to watch.

Riding a two game losing streak at home, the Golden State Warriors will return to the court at San Francisco’s Chase Center after two days off to host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday evening in the Bay Area.

Despite welcoming the long-awaited returns of Andrew Wiggins and Andre Iguodala the Warriors couldn’t hold on against the Orlando Magic on Saturday night for their second straight loss at Chase Center. Prior to their back-to-back losses, the Warriors were riding a five-game winning streak.

With Wiggins and Iguodala back, the Warriors could also soon be getting the return of Steph Curry from injury. After missing 11 games due to a shoulder subluxation, Curry was initially listed as probable on the injury report on Monday. However, Curry is now listed as questionable as of Tuesday morning.

Heading into Chase Center on Tuesday, the banged-up Suns are riding a six-game slide. The Suns will be without their All-Star backcourt of Devin Booker and Chris Paul on Tuesday as both are dealing with injuries.

Before Tuesday’s game, here’s everything you need to know, including how to watch.

Injury Report: Warriors’ Klay Thompson (knee) probable for Tuesday’s game vs. Suns

After being a late scratch on Saturday before tip off due to knee soreness, Klay Thompson is listed as probable for Tuesday vs. the Suns.

After a wave of injuries that limited the Golden State Warriors’ rotation, players like Andrew Wiggins and Andre Iguodala have made their long-awaited return to the court.

Along with Wiggins and Iguodala, the Warriors recently got positive news regarding Steph Curry’s return from a shoulder subluxation injury. Following an 11-game absence, Curry is listed as probable for Tuesday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns.

Joining Curry with a probable status for Tuesday is fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson. The five-time All-Star guard was a late scratch for Saturday’s loss to the Orlando Magic. Thompson left the court before tipoff on Saturday and was ruled out for the game with left knee soreness.

After missing Saturday’s game against the Magic, Thompson is listed as probable for Tuesday against the Suns.

Via @DaltonJ_Johnson on Twitter:

Prior to missing Saturday’s game against the Magic, Thompson has been on a tear. The veteran shooter had notched three straight games with 30 or more points, including a season-high 54 point performance against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Warriors are set to host the Suns on Tuesday night at Chase Center in San Francisco at 7 p.m. PT.

Injury Report: Warriors’ Steph Curry (shoulder) listed as probable for Tuesday’s game vs. Suns

Golden State’s eight-time All-Star point guard has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns.

After getting back both Andrew Wiggins and Andre Iguodala on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, the Golden State Warriors could be getting more reinforcements soon.

After missing 11 games with a shoulder subluxation injury, Steph Curry is officially listed as probable for the Warriors’ contest on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. Initial reports indicated the Warriors were targeting Jan. 13th’s game against the San Antonio Spurs as a potential return date for the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.

Via @CjHolmes22 on Twitter:

During Curry’s absence, the Warriors have posted a 6-5 record that included a five game winning streak at San Francisco’s Chase Center. Even if Curry’s cleared to return to the starting lineup, the Warriors will likely be cautious with the eight-time All-Star guard.

Prior to leaving his last game against the Indiana Pacers, Curry tallied a game-high 38 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field with five made triples to go along with seven assists and seven boards.

NBA Twitter reacts to another road loss for the Warriors despite 50 points from Steph Curry vs. the Suns

After Steph Curry’s 50-point performance wasn’t enough to get the Warriors their first road win of the season on Wednesday against the Suns, NBA Twitter chimed in with reactions.

Despite a 50-point performance from Steph Curry in Phoenix on Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors are still winless on the road in the 2022-23 campaign.

Curry finished the contest with a game-high 50 points on 17-of-28 shooting from the field, with seven made triples to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. Although Curry tallied a new season-high, it wasn’t enough to solve the Warriors’ struggles on the road.

As Curry fired away, the Suns dismantled the Warriors’ defense with a red-hot performance from beyond the arc. On the way to a 130-119 win over the Warriors, the Suns buried 21 triples on 52.5% shooting from long distance.

All five members of the Suns’ starting rotation scored in double-figures, with Devin Booker, Cam Payne and Mikal Bridges leading the way.

With the Warriors’ loss in Phoenix on Wednesday, Steve Kerr’s team has fallen to 0-8 on the road to start the new season. The Warriors will get a game at home in San Francisco on Friday against the New York Knicks before heading back out on the road for a contest against the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

After Golden State’s road struggles fell to a new low with a loss to the Suns in the desert, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Wednesday night.
