Analyzing Sunday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (7-2) and Oklahoma City Thunder (8-1) clash Sunday. Tip-off from Paycom Center is set for 7 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Warriors vs. Thunder odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; OKC won 3-1 last season

Golden State was routed 136-117 by the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday while failing to cover as a 3.5-point underdog. The Warriors trailed by a whopping 41 points at halftime as the Warriors’ defense failed to stop anything in the loss, which ended a 5-game winning streak.

Oklahoma City rebounded from its first loss, 124-122 to the Denver Nuggets Wednesday, to blow out the Houston Rockets 126-107 Friday while covering as a 7.5-point favorite. Both G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and C Chet Holmgren scored 29 points.

Warriors at Thunder picks and predictions

Prediction

Thunder 117, Warriors 113

Moneyline

PASS.

The Thunder are the better and more talented team and will win to cover here as -300 favorites, but they are not worth the risk of betting on as such heavy favorites. I recommend passing here and betting on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

LEAN WARRIORS +7.5 (-110).

Golden State has been a very good team on both sides of the ball this year and is getting solid play from its bench, so the Warriors will give the top-seeded Thunder some trouble here.

This is a lean because the Warriors were just dismantled by a Cavs team that, to me, is notas good as this OKC team. However, OKC does not yet have things figured out offensively the way that Cleveland does, so I am still confident in the Warriors to cover.

Over/Under

BET OVER 227.5 (-110).

The Over has hit in 4 straight games for Golden State and is 6-3 for the Warriors this season. For OKC, the Over has hit in back-to-back games. The Over has also hit in each of the last 9 meetings between these squads.

Be aware that both Golden State and OKC are among the best in the league defensively, so this bet has some risk.

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (34-31) battle the Oklahoma City Thunder (30-34) Tuesday. Tip from Paycom Center is set for 8 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Warriors vs. Thunder odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Warriors have won both games against OKC this season, covering both as well. Golden State won 128-120 on Jan. 30 at the Paycom Center. The Over is 2-0 as well.

The Warriors lost to the Lakers 113-105 Sunday, failing to cover as 5-point road favorites. Golden State is 5-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last 6 games. The Warriors’ total has gone Under in 7 straight. They are 31-32-2 ATS this season and 35-27 O/U.

The Thunder are coming off a 129-119 win over Utah at home Sunday, covering as a 6.5-point favorite. They are 2-3-2 ATS over their last 7 games. Oklahoma City is 37-24-3 ATS on the season and 38-25 O/U.

Warriors at Thunder picks and predictions

Prediction

Thunder 126, Warriors 122

Moneyline

SPRINKLE THUNDER (+145).

While the Warriors have cleaned it up lately, they are still one of the worst road teams in the league.

Golden State is 6-24 straight up on the road while Oklahoma City is 19-15 at home. OKC has also won 2 straight while the Warriors will be playing the 2nd of a 4-game road trip.

Against the spread

BET THUNDER +4.5 (-115).

If I like the Thunder outright, I would certainly play Thunder +4.5 (-115) as a little insurance. Golden State is just 6-5 straight up in its last 11 games and 6-4-1 ATS in that span. The Warriors are a league-worst 8-22 ATS on the road.

The Thunder are 2-0 ATS in their last 2 home games and 5-4-2 ATS in their last 11. OKC is 20-14 ATS at home. They also match up well with Golden State, having ample guards to limit the effectiveness of G Stephen Curry and G Jordan Poole.

The Warriors won by 8 in the lone game between these 2 at Paycom, but they shot 51% from the field and 43% from deep. Expect regression along with an upbeat Thunder team on a winning streak.

Back the THUNDER +4.5 (-115).

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 243.5 (-108).

This is a lofty total, and the Warriors have gone Under in 7 straight games. However, OKC is 5-3-1 O/U in its last 9. The real catch is that in this situation, Golden State has rewarded bettors. They are a league-best 21-8-1 O/U in road games.

OKC sits 4th in the league in home games at 22-12 O/U as well. These teams rank 1st (Warriors) and 3rd (Thunder) in pace as well. Expect a fast, high-scoring game. Back the OVER 243.5 (-108).

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (25-24) visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (24-25) Monday in a Western Conference battle. Tip-off from Paycom Center is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Warriors vs. Thunder odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Golden State enters on a 2-game win streak, recently topping Toronto 129-117 Friday as 4-point home favorites. G Stephen Curry led the Warriors in scoring in each of last 2 games, finishing with 35 (and 11 assists) against the Raptors and 34 points in Wednesday’s 122-120 home win vs. Memphis — the Warriors came up a hook short as 2.5-point favorites.

Oklahoma City has alternated wins and losses in its last 5 games, going 3-2 and 3-1-1 against the spread (ATS). The Thunder are coming off a 112-100 home win vs. Cleveland Friday as 1-point favorites. Oklahoma City has exceeded many people’s expectations this season, largely due to its defense and the scoring from G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (30.9 points per game).

Warriors at Thunder picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 112, Thunder 109

Moneyline

PASS.

This is a very winnable game for the Warriors (-170) despite how horrendous they’ve been on the road this season (6-18). They’ve dominated this matchup as of late, winning 6 in a row.

Despite their sloppiness with the ball — they rank 2nd to last in the league with 16.7 turnovers per game — they’re always a tough matchup. However, I can’t advise anyone to pay this much juice on a road team. I could see including Golden State (-170) in a parlay.

Against the spread

LEAN THUNDER +4.5 (-115).

While recent series history favors the Warriors, who are 7-2-1 ATS against the Thunder in the last 10 meetings, the best bet here is still to back Oklahoma City to cover. The Thunder are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games at home vs. teams with road winning percentages of less than .400, according to Covers.com. They are also 8-0-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs. teams with winning records.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 241.5 (-108).

For both teams involved and for recent matchups between these 2, the Under is clearly the safer bet. The Under is 4-1 in Golden State’s last 5 games vs. teams with a losing record, per Covers.com.

For Oklahoma City the Under is 5-0 in their last 5 games after scoring 100+ points in the previous game.

When it comes to the head-to-head series, the Under is 22-6 in the last 28 meetings and 7-2 in the last 9 meetings in Oklahoma City.

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (40-13) travel to Paycom Center Monday to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder (17-35). Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Warriors vs. Thunder odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Warriors have had a nice break as they play their first game since a 12-point win over the Sacramento Kings Feb. 3. Golden State has covered four of its last six games and is 29-21-3 against the spread (ATS) on the season.

While they have the best home record in the NBA, the Warriors are just 15-9 straight up (SU) on the road this season. Golden State has beaten Oklahoma City in both meetings this season. It picked up a 106-98 road victory Oct. 26 and a 103-82 home victory Oct. 30.

The Thunder will be without their best player, G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Monday which will leave the bulk of the load to rookie G Josh Giddey. The Thunder are the second-best covering team in the NBA (32-18-2 ATS) despite ranking second-to-last in the Western Conference.

Warriors at Thunder odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 108, Thunder 99

Money line

PASS on the money line. The Warriors (-1000) aren’t worth playing at such a steep tag while the Thunder (+600) without their best player also have little value.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to the THUNDER +12.5 (-110).

The Thunder might not always win games, but they do cover.

They’re 14-7-2 ATS as home underdogs and the Warriors are just 6-6-1 ATS as road favorites.

The Thunder play better on their home court. Oklahoma City is 8-19 SU on the road and 9-16 SU at home (15-8-2 ATS at home). OKC has covered three of its last games.

The Warriors oddly haven’t been much better with a rest advantage either, at just 8-6-1 ATS.

I’d back Oklahoma City here given they’re at home, where they’ve proven to cover at the second-highest rate in the league,

Over/Under

BET on the UNDER 211.5 (-110).

While it’s a low total for a dangerous Warriors offense, both teams are better defensively than offensively.

Defending is one of the things this Thunder team does the best, ranking 10th in defensive rating. The Warriors sit atop the league with a 103.5 defensive rating. The Thunder creep up to eighth in defensive rating at home (106.8).

It’s been profitable to bet the Under for both teams this season. The Warriors are 21-31-1 O/U while the Thunder are 21-30-1 O/U. The Under hit in both meetings earlier this season as OKC has yet to top 100 points against the Warriors.

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (3-0) will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder (0-3) at Paycom Center Tuesday in a battle of one of the best versus one of the worst. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Warriors vs. Thunder odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Warriors have downed the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings to start the season. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry is leading the way with an average of over 30 points per game as the Warriors enter as heavy favorites Tuesday.

However, against an elite group of up-and-coming guards including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort, the Thunder will be able to put up a challenge and should actually match up pretty well.

It’s been an ugly start for Oklahoma City though, having lost all three games by 12 or more points. We’ll see if they can snap at least that streak at home against the West’s best.

Warriors at Thunder odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 112, Thunder 103

Money line

PASS on the money line. Upsets happen in the NBA. Teams don’t make shots.

Two-time MVP G Stephen Curry has had off games. With that in mind, -600 is far from a good value, and I’m also not hanging one on the winless, inexperienced home side.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to the THUNDER +9.5 (-110) despite the books giving it some juice.

The Thunder haven’t played well this season, but with their defensive-minded backcourt they should match up very well against a team that’s dependent on Curry and SG Jordan Poole.

Alexander is a superstar in the making and should be able to have his way against a smaller Warriors backcourt. SGA stands 6-foot-6 and starts alongside Dort who is 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds.

The Thunder haven’t lost by single digits yet, but at the same time, the Warriors only beat the Kings by 12 for their lone double-digit victory, and that took outscoring them by 10 in the final quarter.

The Warriors are great and should win, but I’d take the Thunder to at least make it a competition. It also seems like the Thunder got a boost, from +9 to +9.5 with Favors out, giving young C Isaiah Roby a chance to shine.

Over/Under

BET on the UNDER 223.5 (-112) as the best bet in this game.

The Thunder are competent defensively and have larger guards, but they have struggled immensely to score They’re shooting the second-worst three-point percentage yet hoisting up the 12th most threes per game.

With former Defensive Player of the Year PF Draymond Green roaming the paint, I’d expect them to continue to struggle offensively.

Golden State has cleared 115 in all three games and had two quarters where it’s scored 38 or more points. Against Oklahoma City the chances of that happening are slim.

I’ll take the Under as this should be a relatively low-scoring, defensive-heavy game. Both teams are 1-2 on the total as well, boding well for the Under to hit.

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Golden State Warriors (26-28) visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-34) at Chesapeake Energy Arena at 9 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Warriors-Thunder odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Warriors have posted wins in back-to-back games over the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets by an average of 12.5 points per contest.

This is the first meeting between these teams this season. OKC swept the three-game series while going 2-1 ATS last season as the Under edged the Over 2-1.

The Thunder are skidding hard, dropping seven straight games while going just 1-6 ATS. OKC covered a 16.5-point number in Utah last time out to end their six-game non-cover run.

Prediction

Warriors 113, Thunder 106

Money line (ML)

The Warriors (-750) are a risky play laying seven-and-a-half times your potential return, especially on the road. This isn’t 2015-19.

AVOID.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The THUNDER +11.5 (-110) should be able to keep it within single digits. While the Warriors -11.5 (-110) have been playing well lately, they allow 113.8 PPG to rank 22nd in the NBA, so OKC should be able to do some damage to stay close on its home floor.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 224.5 (-110) is the best play in this game. Lately, for Golden State, it’s been all Under, all the time. The Under is 11-3 in its last 14 games on the road while cashing in four of the past five as a favorite.

And the Under is 20-6 in the past 26 meetings in this series, and 5-1 in the previous six battles between these two in OKC.
