While 22 teams are making their stretch run to the NBA postseason at Disney World, the Golden State Warriors have officially entered offseason mode. With the league’s worst record, the Warriors are one of eight teams on the outside of the NBA’s Orlando Bubble.
Instead of tuning into the NBA’s slate of games on Sunday in the Bubble, Klay Thompson flipped on a movie. The five-time NBA All-Star shared a video on Instagram while watching “Mortal Kombat.” Thompson was fired up watching the 1995 film alongside his bulldog, Rocco.

Over Golden State’s early entrance to the offseason, Thompson has been spending time with Rocco. The Golden State shooting guard shared a photo featuring Rocco and Thompson locked in for a game of chess. Rocco also joined Thompson at a recent workout for “moral support.”

When he’s not watching movies or playing chess with Rocco, the shooting guard has been in the gym working back from his ACL injury. After missing the entire 2019-20 season due to the knee injury he suffered in the 2019 NBA Finals, Thompson recently revealed his mind and body are “100%” ready to get back on the court.

During Golden State’s extended offseason, Thompson will have plenty of time to prepare for his much-anticipated return to Steve Kerr’s rotation.
