Highlights: Remembering all of the top moments from the Warriors championship parade

Following the Warriors championship parade, here’s a look at all the top moments from Monday’s festivities in the streets of San Francisco.

On Monday, it was party time throughout the Bay Area.

Following their win in Game 6 of the NBA Finals over the Boston Celtics, the Bay Area hosted their fourth championship parade in eight years. With the first four taking place in Oakland, the 2022 edition of the parade toured through the streets of San Francisco for the first time since the team moved to Chase Center in Mission Bay.

As confetti reigned down on Mission Street in San Francisco, the Warriors celebrated their fourth title together in signature fashion. MVP chants echoed towards Steph Curry, Draymond Green didn’t hold back when it came to talking trash and Klay Thompson had multiple signature moments in only the way he knows how. First-time champs like Gary Payton II, Jordan Poole and Juan Toscano-Anderson also added to the party.

With the celebration wrapped up, here’s a look at all the highlights and top moments from Golden State’s parade on Monday in San Francisco.

Let the party begin.

On Monday, the Golden State Warriors will celebrate their run to the 2022 NBA title with a championship parade. After defeating the Boston Celtics in six games, members of the Warriors will travel through the streets of San Francisco with the Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time since moving from Oakland.

Before the parade could even begin, Klay Thompson kicked off the festivities in signature fashion. The now four-time NBA champion broke out his captain’s hat and boated across the Bay to get to the parade. While piloting his boat, Thompson entertained fans by going live on Instagram.
