Three Georgia Bulldogs have been named Walter Camp and FWAA All-Americans.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean and defensive tackle Jordan Davis were both named to the first team, while offensive tackle Jamaree Salyer earned second team honors.

Dean had a breakout year in a dominant Georgia defense that held opponents under seven points per game (6.9).

The junior racked up 61 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, a forced fumble, five pass breakups and two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown).

The Mississippi native was given the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s top linebacker. Dean also won the high school version of the award in 2018.

Davis was an immovable force inside a talented UGA defensive line.

The senior took home both the Outland Trophy, given to the nation’s top interior lineman and the Bednarik Award, given to the best defensive player in college football.

It’s the first time ever an SEC player has swept both awards.

Salyer might have been a candidate for a first team selection if it weren’t for injury problems in the latter part of the season.

The senior missed four games but still played 71% of Georgia’s offensive snaps this season.

The preseason All-American was one of the highest graded tackles in all of college football in 2021, per Pro Football Focus.

The Bulldogs will need all three stars at their best when they face Michigan in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
