SEC announces conference TV, kickoff times for Dec. 19

The SEC announced conference TV and kickoff times for Dec. 19 including Vanderbilt at Georgia football. UGA and Vandy play at noon.

The SEC has announced TV times and the full schedule for Dec. 19. The slate of games, which features the 2020 SEC Championship Game, will be the conference’s final football action of the season (with the notable exception of bowl games).

The Georgia Bulldogs will kickoff against the Vanderbilt Commodores at noon. Georgia’s previous tilt against Vandy was postponed. There’s no postponing this game. Vanderbilt has a depleted roster, so they may not play against the Dawgs. We’ll see if Vandy can field a team Dec. 12 first.

Kirby Smart and the University of Georgia will look to finish the season 8-2 overall and will try to lock up another New Year’s Six bowl appearance.

Other good Dec. 19 SEC football games include: Texas A&M at Tennessee, Ole Miss at LSU, Missouri at Mississippi State, and of course the SEC Championship between Florida and Alabama. The Texas A&M Aggies are still fighting for a College Football Playoff berth and they’ll need an impressive performance against Tennessee.

Florida against Alabama for the SEC title has serious College Football Playoff implications. The winner is certainly in. If Alabama loses, then they still may make the top four. Florida has to win to have a chance at a National Championship.

Here’s the full TV schedule for the last week of SEC action:

The SEC Championship on CBS will be the night cap for an incredible day of college football.
