The USA U19 basketball team is running through the FIBA World Cup, having never trailed during their first five games of action.
The latest victory came today in the form of an 88-58 rout of Senegal.
Jonathan Davis has played a wing guard role for the team, primarily taking shots from the outside as Purdue’s Jaden Ivey drives to the hoop and dominates defenders.
But after a freshman year that saw Davis average 7 points and shoot 39 percent from beyond the arc, outside scoring ability is great to see as Davis prepares for his sophomore campaign.

To me, at least, his shot looks smooth and fluid from outside the arc.
Maybe it’s me, but Jonathan Davis’ shot looks so pure right now.
Could be an insane person, but it looks so much better & more comfortable than last season pic.twitter.com/arHvPZwBG4
