Even if the 2021-22 basketball season is an up-and-down grind for the Wisconsin men’s basketball team, the development of guard Jonathan Davis will be a fun and captivating storyline to watch.
He flashed as a freshman last season, showing versatile ability on both sides of the court that pointed toward great things in coming years.
Right now, Davis is with the USA U-19 team at the FIBA World Cup. He’s playing alongside Purdue’s Jaden Ivey, Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren and UW-Milwaukee’s Patrick Baldwin Jr. And he’s helping the team put on a show for basketball fans back home.
Here is his latest highlight, drilling a wing 3-pointer after a great skip pass from Baldwin.

Davis and his team are 3-0 after today’s 87-66 victory over Australia and open the knockout rounds against South Korea on Wednesday.
