Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 12

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 12 DFS fantasy football.

With six teams on bye, the player pool is skinnier than it has been all season. Plus, the Primetime slate is pulling away four premium offenses. This could get ugly as we piece together our lineups. So, let’s start things out with a bang … QB Tommy DeVito …What could go wrong?

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Jayden DanielsPatrick Mahomes, and Jared Goff are this week’s top choices. Baker Mayfield is the cheaper pivot. If you punt this week, go with Caleb Williams or Cooper Rush, or better yet, embrace the glorious aura of Tommy DeVito.

Fantasy four-pack

Jayden Daniels, Commanders vs. DAL ($7,000 DK, $9,000 FD) Dallas has allowed the second-most QB rushing scores. Daniels has been mostly quiet since returning from an injury sustained in Week 7. Still, this will be a get-right game. Look for Daniels to account for three scores.

Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ LAR (N/A DK, $9,300 FDHurts has 15 total TDs over the last five weeks. Most have come via the “Brotherly Shove.” Unfortunately, the Rams have not allowed a QB rushing score this season. Still, Hurts has proven he can get it done through the air as well. Pencil him in for another three TDs, with at least one going to A.J. Brown.

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs @ CAR ($6,800 DK, $8,400 FDMahomes will take it upon himself to make up for the Chiefs’ loss last week. With JuJu Smith-Schuster and DeAndre Hopkins both healthy and with Travis Kelce looking for a rebound, we should expect a floor of three passing TDs as KC dominates.

Jared Goff, Lions @ IND ($6,600 DK, $8,500 FDGoff didn’t have to throw the ball last week to lead his team to victory. Still, he did as the team piled it on versus the Jaguars. Only six teams are allowing more passing yards per game than Indy, and the Colts have sucked against TEs. This makes Sam LaPorta (shoulder) a great stack if he returns from his injury as expected.

Sleepers

Caleb Williams, Bears vs. MIN ($5,100 DK, $7,000 FDThe coaching change for Chicago has Williams back on track. Unfortunately, he still doesn’t have a TD in his last four games. He should fare better here as Minnesota gives out passing yards like Halloween candy. Plus, Minnesota will have to stop Williams’ legs and hasn’t faced a running QB since Week 1.

Tommy DeVito, Giants vs. TB ($4,000 DK, $6,000 FDWhen attempting to cover the opposition’s passing attack, Tampa Bay just says “Fuggedaboutit.” They have allowed the fourth-most passing yards and the fifth-most passing TDs. DeVito has nothing to lose here. Expect the Giants to let him just grip it and rip it. Use him in a double stack with some combo of Malik NabersWan’Dale RobinsonDarius Slayton (concussion), and Theo Johnson.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Christian McCaffrey and De’Von Achane are your options at RB1. Use one of the two. The Lions’ duo, Joe Mixon, and James Conner are the only pivots to consider. Either Commander, Rhamondre Stevenson, or Tyrone Tracy Jr. are the top RB2 choices. Kareem Hunt reverts to a timeshare this week, but he remains a brilliant play considering the price. For a punt, consider Trey Benson or one of the Buccaneers.

Fantasy four-pack

Christian McCaffrey, 49ers @ GB ($8,500 DK, $9,500 FD) Over the last four games, Green Bay is allowing just under 24 PPR points per game to opposing RBs. McCaffrey has topped 100 total yards in back-to-back games since his return, but he has not made it into the end zone yet. That changes this week.

De’Von Achane, Dolphins vs. NE ($7,500 DK, $9,100 FD) The New England Patriots knocked Achane out of the Dolphins’ previous matchup with only 17 total yards. The rest of the backfield posted 187 total yards and a TD in that game. Over the last two weeks, Achane has handled 69% of the Miami RB opportunities, so most of the work is going to him now.

Joe Mixon, Texans vs. TEN ($8,000 DK, $9,300 FDOver the last four weeks, Tennessee has allowed the second-most total TDs to the position. Meanwhile, Mixon has ten total TDs over the last six weeks.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions @ IND ($7,300 DK, $8,600 FDGibbs, and David Montgomery have very similar stats. Montgomery has 160 opportunities, while Gibbs has 162. Gibbs has nine total TDs while Montgomery has ten. Gibbs has 23 receptions to Montgomery’s 21. So how do you choose? Gibbs has 272 more total yards. Over the last four weeks, Indy allowed an average of 132 total yards and one TD to the position.

Sleepers

Kareem Hunt, Chiefs @ CAR ($5,700 DK, $7,500 FD) Isiah Pacheco (leg) should return this week. In his first game back, I expect KC to limit his touches. Against this defense, both backs may top 100 yards and score. For the season, Carolina is allowing greater than 30 PPR points per game to opposing RBs.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots @ MIA ($5,900 DK, $6,400 FD) Miami has allowed the fourth-most total RB touchdowns. This includes a rushing TD allowed to Stevenson back in Week 5. He finished with only 92 total yards in that game, but that was when Antonio Gibson was still a factor.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – The high-priced options are all in shaky territory. Amon-Ra. St. Brown has a good matchup, but won’t see as many targets as last week. Nico Collins should see more targets this week, but Tennessee is tough against the pass even without their top two CBs. Both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua might eat into each other’s usage versus a tough Eagles secondary. Malik Nabers and Tyreek Hill become the top WR1 options by default. A returning Mike Evans (hamstring) and Terry McLaurin are the WR1 pivots. At WR2, use Jaxon Smith-NjigbaJosh DownsCourtland Sutton, or Calvin Ridley. I’d also consider using two of the above if I save at RB. Otherwise, use Rome Odunze, one of the Chiefs, or Wan’Dale Robinson at WR3. You can also consider Kendrick BourneNick Westbrook-Ikhine, or Sterling Shepard as a punt option.

Fantasy four-pack

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions @ IND ($8,300, $9,500 FD) Only seven teams have allowed more receiving yards to opposing WRs than Indy. St. Brown is coming off of a monster performance, and he has scored in eight straight games. With Sam LaPorta returning, St. Brown’s numbers won’t equal last week’s, but he will still post 8-110-1

Malik Nabers, Giants vs. TB ($7,400, $8,200 FDDo we trust Tommy DeVito? Yes, heck, I’d trust Uncle Rico versus this secondary. The only way Nabers doesn’t pay off here is if DeVito and Drew Lock get hurt and the team is forced to turn to Tim Boyle.

Tyreek Hill, Dolphins vs. NE ($7,200 DK, $8,300 FDIn Week 5, Hill posted 6-69 versus New England despite having Tyler Huntley throwing him wounded ducks. Since the return of Tua Tagovailoa, Hill has caught 20 of 26 passes and scored in back-to-back games. Expect him to continue his resurgence here.

Nico Collins, Texans vs. TEN ($7,600 DK, $8,900 FDCollins shook off the rust last week. This week expect a more traditional stat line. Before his injury, Collins had scored and/or topped 100 yards in three of five games.

Sleepers

Calvin Ridley, Titans @ HOU ($5,700 DK, $6,300 FD) Since Week 6, Ridley ranks third overall among WRs in targets. Meanwhile, over the last four games, Houston has allowed opposing WR1s to average 20.2 PPR points per game.

Rome Odunze, Bears vs. MIN ($4,800 DK, $5,400 FDMinnesota has allowed the fifth-most WR receiving yards. They have particularly struggled with field stretchers, like Odunze. Meanwhile, Odunze was the target of 10 passes in the first game under the new play-caller for Chicago.

Adam Trautman $2,700 $4,600
Davis Allen N/A $4,400
Luke Schoonmaker $2,500 $4,400

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Travis Kelce and Trey McBride are the top options this week. George Kittle (hamstring) and Brock Bowers are a little pricier, but each should fare well with lesser ownership. A healthy Sam LaPorta (shoulder) also gets a cake matchup at a much lower price than the other four. Theo Johnson, Luke Schoonmaker, and Ja’Tavion Sanders are the punt options.

Fantasy four-pack

Travis Kelce, Chiefs @ CAR ($5,800 DK, $7,200 FD) No team has allowed more TE touchdowns than Carolina. Kelce will score at least once as KC looks to remedy his dud from last week.

Trey McBride, Cardinals @ SEA ($5,600 DK, $6,700 FD) Seattle has faced only five TEs of McBride’s caliber this season. Those five TEs have averaged 5.6-63 with three total TDs. Over his last six games, McBride is averaging 14 PPR points per game. That feels like his floor here.

Sam LaPorta, Lions @ IND ($4,300 DK, $5,800 FD) Reports suggest that LaPorta (shoulder) will return this week. Before his injury, he had scored in three of five games. Indy has allowed the third-most receptions and the fourth-most TDs to the position.

George Kittle, 49ers @ GB ($6,000 DK, $7,700 FDKittle (hamstring) has already announced that he is playing this weekend. Despite missing a pair of games, because of injury, Kittle leads all TEs in touchdowns. He is also averaging 70 receiving yards per game played.

Sleepers

Ja’Tavion Sanders, Panthers vs. KC ($3,400 DK, $4,900 FDKC ranks dead last in TE receiving yards allowed, and only one team has allowed more TE receptions. Meanwhile, since Week 6, Sanders has led the Panthers in receptions and receiving yards.

Luke Schoonmaker, Cowboys @ WAS ($2,500 DK, $4,400 FD) Jake Ferguson (concussion) is expected to miss this week’s game. He also missed most of last week’s game during which Schoonmaker stepped in and posted 6-56 on 10 targets. The Commanders have allowed three TE scores over their last four games, so Schoonmaker may score here.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 11

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 11 DFS fantasy football.

With Thanksgiving Week and a pair of Byepocalypse weeks looming shortly, Week 11’s challenge is to squeeze as many Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs into your lineup as possible.

From a DFS standpoint, I am happy that this matchup is on the main slate, but I am still shocked that this game wasn’t flexed to prime time.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Despite facing off against each other’s elite defenses and without their top receiving weapons, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes lock horns in another epic battle. The clear pivot play would be Brock Purdy. To save some money, I love Russell WilsonJameis Winston and, to a lesser degree, Matthew StaffordWill Levis is a bottom-priced punt option.

Fantasy four-pack

Josh Allen, Bills vs. KC ($7,800 DK, $8,800 FDKC’s defense is elite, but when these two teams meet, throw the recent trends out the window. In seven career meetings, Allen has 20 total TDs, and he has averaged 299 total yards per game. Stack him with two of Khalil ShakirDawson Knox (assuming Dalton Kincaid is out), and Mack Hollins (assuming Amari Cooper is out).

Joe Burrow, Bengals @ LAC (N/A DK, $8,500 FDBurrow went berserk the last two weeks, throwing for nine TDs. This matchup looks tougher on paper, but the Chargers have faced only four top-20 QBs all season.

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs @ BUF ($6,800 DK, $7,900 FDDespite facing a stingy Denver defense, Mahomes produced another solid yardage line last week. He threw for only one TD in that game, but Mahomes has six over the previous three weeks. Plus, he should get an enormous boost with the return of JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) this week.

Brock Purdy, 49ers vs. SEA ($6,600 DK, $8,400 FDPurdy’s receivers returned to the field last week and he instantly went off for 353-2. Meanwhile, Seattle has allowed multiple passing TDs in five of their last six games, including three to Purdy in Week 6.

Sleepers

Russell Wilson, Steelers vs. BAL ($5,900 DK, $7,800 FDBaltimore has the worst pass defense in football. They have allowed 30 more yards per game than the next worst team. They have also allowed the most passing TDs this year. Since becoming the starting quarterback in Week 7, Wilson has scored the sixth-most points per game among quarterbacks.

Jameis Winston, Browns @ NO ($5,500 DK, $7,200 FDWinston gets the revenge game against a New Orleans defense that recently traded away their best cornerback. Stack him with David Njoku and Cedric Tillman.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Christian McCaffrey immediately stepped back into a bell cow role. This week he faces a cake matchup. Bijan Robinson and Kyren Williams are the next best options. Detroit also has an easy matchup, but good luck choosing between Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. Kareem Hunt is my favorite RB2 choice. Chase Brown and Nick Chubb can be RB2 pivots. They also are both great flex plays if you go cheaper elsewhere. Watch Najee Harris’s (ankle) injury status. If he is out, Jaylen Warren can be a punt option. Otherwise, take a flier on Alexander Mattison or Audric Estime.

Fantasy four-pack

Christian McCaffrey, 49ers vs. SEA ($8,300 DK, $9,800 FDSince Week 4, Seattle has allowed over 27 PPR points per game to opposing RBs. This included allowing 26.9 PPR points to the Niners’ backups in Week 6. Nothing held McCaffrey back last week. He handled 20 of the 22 RB opportunities for San Fran.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons @ DEN ($7,800 DK, $8,900 FD) Pass-catching running backs can beat Denver’s defense. They rank fourth in RB targets and receptions and fifth in RB receiving yards and receiving TDs. This fits Robinson’s bill as he ranks third among RBs in both receptions and receiving yards.

Kyren Williams, Rams @ NE ($7,900 DK, $9,200 FDWilliams gets to feast on a Patriots’ defense that allows 145 combo yards and 1.1 total TDs per game to the RB position. Despite being shut out the last two weeks, Williams ranks second in total TDs among RBs.

Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. CLE ($8,200 DK, $8,200 FDHis price is the same on both sites, but he is only a legit play on DK because of the full PPR scoring. Kamara has five or more receptions in eight of 10 games. Meanwhile, Cleveland has faced legit pass-catching backs only a few times this year, so their numbers look artificially good.

Sleepers

Kareem Hunt, Chiefs @ BUF ($6,700 DK, $8,000 FDWith Isiah Pacheco’s (leg) return looming shortly, this may be the last week to enjoy huge scoring from Hunt. Buffalo is allowing a league third-worst 4.9 YPC to opposing rushers. Since Week 9, they have allowed 362 total yards and three total TDs to the position.

Nick Chubb, Browns @ NO ($6,000 DK, $6,200 FD) The Saints have allowed seven total RB touchdowns over the last four weeks. Chubb has been a dud since his return in Week 7, but here — at low ownership — he will go off.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – Spend up on Ja’Marr Chase or Puka Nacua. The only other elite player among the high-priced options is George Pickens. At WR2, pick Calvin RidleyKhalil ShakirQuentin Johnston, or DeAndre Hopkins. I love Jauan Jennings and Cedric Tillman for WR3. I also would consider JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) if he returns from his injury. If you punt this position, Mack HollinsNick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Mike Williams are the best options.

Fantasy four-pack

Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals @ LAC (N/A DK, $9,600 FDIf you faced Chase last week, my condolences on your loss. Thankfully, in DFS, you can choose to play him this week even if you don’t own him in your season-long leagues. Over their last three games, the Chargers have allowed an average of 6.3-89-1 to opposing WR1s.

Puka Nacua, Rams @ NE ($7,300, $8,300 FDIn the two full games that Nacua has played since his return from injury, he has posted 16-204 on 23 targets. As long as he doesn’t punch anyone, he should post 9-100-1 here.

George Pickens, Steelers vs. BAL ($7,000 DK, $7,500 FDOnly two WR1s have not topped 100 yards and/or scored against this defense this season. Both came back in Weeks 3 and 4. Since then, they have allowed an average of 7-126-1.8 to opposing WR1s. Plus, Pickens has scored in two of the three games since Russell Wilson took over at QB.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions vs. JAX ($8,000 DK, $9,200 FDThis play isn’t as obvious as expected. Detroit could just run the ball down the throat of the Jaguars. Plus, St. Brown’s scoring touchdowns in seven consecutive games has helped his numbers look better than they are. Still, with Sam LaPorta (shoulder) in danger of missing this game, St. Brown could see an uptick in targets.

Sleepers

Calvin Ridley, Titans vs. MIN ($6,200 DK, $6,400 FDMinnesota ranks in the bottom eight in receptions, yardage, and TDs allowed to opposing WRs. Meanwhile, since Week 6, Ridley ranks third among WRs in targets.

Cedric Tillman, Browns @ NO ($5,300 DK, $6,500 FDThe sites have not bumped Tillman’s price up, despite his ranking 10th or better in receptions, targets, and receiving TDs among WRs, since Week 7.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Travis Kelce and George Kittle each have juicy matchups. David Njoku, Pat Freiermuth, and Mike Gesicki are cheaper alternatives. If you want to take a deep dive, consider Will DisslyDawson Knox, or Brock Wright.

Fantasy four-pack

Travis Kelce, Chiefs @ BUF ($6,300 DK, $7,400 FDIn his last seven games against the Bills, Kelce is averaging 7.8-87 with eight TDs. Plus, over the last three weeks, Kelce is leading the league in TE targets, receptions, and receiving yards.

George Kittle, 49ers vs. SEA ($6,000 DK, $8,000 FD) Kittle has seven TDs over his last seven games. This includes a 5-58-2 against these Seahawks.

David Njoku, Browns @ NO ($5,500 DK, $6,600 FD) In the three games since Jameis Winston took over, Njoku has posted 20-166-2 on 28 targets. The Saints have struggled with the limited number of similarly talented TEs they have faced this season.

Brock Bowers, Raiders @ MIA ($5,800 DK, $7,200 FDThis isn’t a great matchup on paper, but Bowers has been matchup-proof this year. He ranks second among TEs in both receptions and targets, and he ranks first in receiving yards.

Sleepers

Mike Gesicki, Bengals @ LAC (N/A DK, $5,400 FDSince Tee Higgins (quadriceps) went down to injury, Gesicki ranks top-four in every TE scoring category. As long as Higgins remains out, keep playing him. If Higgins plays, consider flipping to Pat Freiermuth at a similar price.

Dawson Knox, Bills vs. KC ($3,500 DK, $5,100 FD) With Dalton Kincaid (knee) on the wrong side of questionable, Knox will be a favorite target for Josh Allen. In six career games versus the Chiefs, Knox has scored three times. Plus, KC has allowed the most receiving yards to the position.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 10

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 9 DFS fantasy football.

Week 10 brings the return of the byes, our final foreign game of the season (featuring two of the worst teams in the NFL), and six excellent offenses playing outside the main slate.

We can use Detroit and Houston on FD and FB. Otherwise, the player pool is pruning up with the rainy fall weather. This brings me to the most important element from now on: the weather. We had our first pair of weather-influenced games this past weekend, but neither stifled the elite offenses involved. Know that only the absolute worst wind and driving rain/snow truly affect the top talents, but still be alert and aware.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – If you go big, choose between Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen. Both are solid plays. The high-dollar pivots would be C.J. Stroud or Kirk Cousins. The sweet spot for me would be Brock PurdySam Darnold, and Aaron RodgersJustin Herbert, Mac Jones, and Cooper Rush are the punt choices.

Fantasy four-pack

Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ DAL ($7,800 DK, $9,400 FDOver the last four games, Dallas has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. Meanwhile, Hurts has 12 total TDs over that same four-week period.

Josh Allen, Bills @ IND ($7,700 DK, $9,200 FDIf I knew he would have all of his weapons, I’d have even more faith in Allen. Still, Allen has proven he can succeed without his usual posse, especially if he gets things going with his legs. Indy’s pass defense numbers look positive, but the QBs they have faced were Sam DarnoldC.J. Stroud (2x), and a clown car full of scrubs.

Kirk Cousins, Falcons @ NO ($6,700 DK, $7,400 FD) Since Week 5, Cousins ranks second in both completions and passing yards. He also ranks third in passing TDs. New Orleans held him in check earlier this year, but now they will be without Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore. Stack Cousins with two of Drake London (hip), Kyle PittsDarnell Mooney, and Ray-Ray McCloud III.

C.J. Stroud, Texans vs. DET (N/A DK, $7,700 FDOnly three teams allow more passing yards per game than Detroit. This will be the wake-up call needed to boost Stroud, who has struggled since losing his top two WRs to injury. Stroud will get an even bigger boost if Nico Collins (hamstring) returns here.

Sleepers

Aaron Rodgers, Jets @ ARI ($5,700 DK, $7,100 FDIn six of his last eight starts, Rodgers has thrown for multiple TDs. This includes five passing TDs over the last two games. Arizona’s pass defense has improved recently, but they still have allowed the sixth-most passing yards this year.

Justin Herbert, Chargers vs. TEN ($5,200 DK, $6,900 FD) This price seems disrespectful to Herbert. Over the last three weeks, no one has thrown for more passing yards than him. The return of Quentin Johnston, paired with the development of Ladd McConkey, has lit a new fire under him. The timing is right for a big game here as Tennessee has allowed eight of their 11 passing TDs over the last four weeks.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Saquon Barkley and Bijan Robinson are the best choices. Alvin Kamara should see a heightened volume because of injuries. I’m struggling with whether to use Christian McCaffrey. It is his first game back, and the matchup is prime, but this smells like a snap-count game. Just know that his DK price will never be this low again. Outside of this foursome, Aaron Jones and D’Andre Swift feel like the clear RB2 choices. After this group, it gets ugly. You can take a flier on James Conner or Rico Dowdle or punt with backups like Tyler Allgeier or  Kenneth Gainwell … Ugh.

Fantasy four-pack

Saquon Barkley, Eagles @ DAL ($8,300 DK, $9,600 FDNormally, I would be concerned that Barkley and Jalen Hurts would cannibalize each other’s production. Still, both have dominated over the last three weeks. Meanwhile, Dallas allows an average of 150 combo yards and 1.4 total TDs per game to opposing RBs.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons @ NO ($7,700 DK, $8,800 FDOver their last four contests, New Orleans is allowing 155 combo yards and two total TDs per game to opposing RBs. This coincides with the blossoming of Robinson. During that same stretch, he is averaging 23.5 PPR points per game.

Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. ATL ($8,100 DK, $8,500 FDKamara’s passing game usage has kept him relevant while the rest of the Saints are in the infirmary. Atlanta ranks in the bottom five in RB receptions and receiving TDs, so the opportunities will be there this week.

Aaron Jones, Vikings @ JAX ($6,700 DK, $7,900 FDJacksonville ranks second-worst in total TDs allowed to the RB position. They also are in the bottom three in both RB receptions and receiving yards. Jones should do damage through the air here as he ranks eighth among RBs in both categories.

Sleepers

Rico Dowdle, Cowboys vs. PHI ($6,100 DK, $6,200 FD) The matchup isn’t elite, but Dowdle has fared well since winning the lion’s share of the touches back in Week 4. During this stretch, Dowdle has nearly twice as many opportunities as Ezekiel Elliott, despite missing one of these games because of illness.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots @ CHI ($6,400 DK, $7,000 FD) Stevenson’s yardage numbers have been pedestrian all season, but he ranks sixth among RBs with seven total TDs. This includes two TDs in each of the last two games. Plus, Chicago is allowing five YPC to opposing RBs, so the yards may be here this week as well.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – Justin Jefferson should be high-dollar chalk. To save money and achieve variance, use DeVonta Smith or Davante Adams instead. You also can use Tank Dell on FD and FB, especially if Nico Collins (hamstring) remains out. At WR2 use Darnell Mooney or Khalil Shakir, or take a flier on George Pickens, Josh Downs, or DJ Moore. Jauan Jennings (hip) will be my WR3 unless he suffers a setback. In that case, sub in Rome OdunzeJordan AddisonQuentin Johnston, or Calvin Ridley. If you don’t use Mooney, consider Ray-Ray McCloud as a punt. You also can consider Nick Westbrook-Ikhine or Parker Washington in this role.

Fantasy four-pack

Justin Jefferson, Vikings vs. JAX ($8,800 DK, $9,500 FD) Jefferson is expensive, but he has scored and/or topped 100 total yards in all but one game. We will see more of this as Jacksonville ranks bottom-six in WR receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs.

DeVonta Smith, Eagles @ DAL ($7,800, $8,500 FD) Dallas’ injuries have piled up, leaving this defense debilitated. Plus, A.J. Brown (knee) is on the wrong side of questionable. This should allow the Eagles to feature Smith once again. Even if Brown plays, Smith will score.

Davante Adams, Jets @ ARI ($7,000 DK, $7,600 FD) The Lambeau East Connection travels down to Arizona to face a Cardinals defense that has allowed the seventh-most WR receptions and the eighth-most WR receptions. Adams’ usage has grown in each game since the trade to the Jets. This feels like the game where he scores multiple TDs.

Tank Dell, Texans vs. DET (N/A DK, $7,200 FD) Despite facing the top-ranked pass defense against WRs last week, C.J. Stroud finally peppered Dell with targets. The result was 6-126. Expect even more out of the Houston speedster against the third-worst defense against the opponent’s WRs.

Sleepers

Jauan Jennings, 49ers @ TB ($5,100 DK, $5,800 FDJennings (hip) is on target to return this weekend against the Buccaneers. Deebo Samuel (oblique/ribs) will probably return as well. Hope they both return, because opposing WR2s have demolished this defense.

Quentin Johnston, Chargers vs. TEN ($4,900 DK, $5,900 FD) Tennessee has stumbled of late against the pass. Meanwhile, Johnston is coming off his best game of the season. Stack him and/or Ladd McConkey with Justin Herbert if you want to spend huge at RB.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Cade Otton are all elite plays this week. Seriously consider the double-TE play with two of them. Kyle Pitts (hamstring) and Dalton Kincaid are the discount pivots. You also can punt with Hunter Henry or one of the Saints.

Fantasy four-pack

George Kittle, 49ers @ TB ($5,800 DK, $8,000 FD) Over the last four weeks, Tampa is allowing an average of 23.7 PPR points to opposing TEs. Kittle leads all tight ends in touchdowns and ranks second in TE receiving yards. This has allowed him to score and/or top 90 total yards in six of seven games.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs vs. DEN ($6,000 DK, $7,000 FDTE is one of the few positions that Denver struggles against on defense. With Kelce blowing up for the last two weeks, 8-90-1 should be the floor.

Cade Otton, Buccaneers vs. SF ($5,500 DK, $6,400 FDSince losing their entire WR corps to injury, Otton has gone scorched earth on the league. Over the last three games, Otton is top-three among all offensive players in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs. His price is still low enough to lock it in here.

Trey McBride, Cardinals vs. NYJ ($5,700 DK, $7,200 FD) McBride should see a plethora of targets with the Jets shutting down the Cardinals’ outside WRs. Even though he scored the rushing TD, McBride underperformed last week. This could keep his ownership numbers down.

Sleepers

Hunter Henry, Patriots @ CHI ($3,900 DK, $5,300 FD) Henry hasn’t scored over the last three games, but he is averaging 7-64. At this price on DK, 3x is an absolute lock. If he gets into the end zone, 4x is on the table.

Juwan Johnson, Saints vs. ATL ($3,300 DK, $5,300 FD) With an injury-depleted WR corps, the Saints have turned to their TEs to make up the slack. Johnson, Taysom Hill, and Foster Moreau are all in play at discount prices. Build three different lineups, each featuring one of them.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 9

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 9 DFS fantasy football.

In-game injuries are the scourge of DFS players. Last week, Jordan Mason (shoulder) and Jordan Love (groin) torpedoed several lineups with early exits. There isn’t a solution for when this happens; all you can do is ensure that your lineups have some variance. Also, with several key injuries in effect for Week 9, don’t assume that more volume will equal more points. Sometimes the exact opposite occurs.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Jalen Hurts is the straightforward choice. Lamar Jackson (back/knee) has a tougher matchup, but his rushing ability keeps him in play. A healthy Jordan Love (groin) would best them both. To save money, pivot to Kirk CousinsCaleb WilliamsDak Prescott, or Joe Flacco. The punt choices are Bo NixJustin Herbert, and Matthew Stafford.

Fantasy four-pack

Jalen Hurts, Eagles vs. JAX ($7,800 DK, $9,300 FDHurts leads all QBs in rushing TDs (including five in the last two weeks). Jacksonville is bottom-half against rushing QBs and bottom-two against passing QBs. Hurts should score both ways this week.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens vs. DEN ($8,000 DK, $8,900 FDJackson (back/knee) ranks second among QBs in total TDs, but this will be a tough matchup against an elite coverage unit. Still, Denver hasn’t been tested by a rushing QB since Week 2. If his knee issue doesn’t limit him, 240-2 and 60-1 are in play.

Jordan Love, Packers vs. DET ($7,000 DK, $8,400 FDLove (groin) is fighting an injury that forced him out of Week 8. Still, he expects to play this week. Detroit is much worse against the pass than the run, and this game is going to be a shootout. So build a QB stack with at least one Detroit WR/TE as well.

Kirk Cousins, Falcons vs. DAL ($6,400 DK, $7,500 FD) Dallas’ defense has allowed the second-most points per game to their opposition, including 94 total over their last three games. Meanwhile, Cousins has only six passing TDs in the six games against non-Tampa Bay opponents. Still, this feels like a keep-right game for him.

Sleepers

Bo Nix, Broncos @ BAL ($5,900 DK, $7,200 FD) Baltimore has allowed the most passing yards and the most passing TDs this season (including 13 over the last four games), plus their secondary has dealt with injuries to their top two corners. Since Week 5, Nix has looked solid, ranking fourth in QB points per game.

Matthew Stafford, Rams @ SEA ($5,700 DK, $7,600 FD) All Stafford needed was to get his two All-Pro WRs back. He threw for more TDs last week than he had the rest of the season combined. Seattle has allowed multiple TDs in four of their last five games. Even if Puka Nacua (knee) cannot go this weekend, more of the same is coming here.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara (hand/rib), and Kyren Williams all have juicy matchups. Unfortunately, their lofty prices make it hard to roster two of them. Derrick Henry is always an option, but the other three have better matchups. For a pivot, consider Bijan Robinson or James Cook. At RB2, choose between Tony Pollard (foot), Chuba Hubbard, De’Von Achane, and D’Andre Swift. Sleepers are few this week. Tyrone Tracy Jr. (concussion) would be an elite play if he can clear the concussion protocol. Chase Brown and Nick Chubb are the only other names to consider.

Fantasy four-pack

Alvin Kamara, Saints @ CAR ($7,800 DK, $8,800 FDCarolina improved their season numbers by allowing only 140-1 to the Denver RB room. For the rest of the season, they have allowed an average of 161-2 to RBs. Kamara will do damage both on the ground and through the air. My biggest concern here is the looming Taysom Hill vulture.

Kyren Williams, Rams @ SEA ($8,200 DK, $8,900 FDOver the last four games, Seattle has allowed an average of 194 combo yards to opposing RBs. Williams has topped the century mark in four of his last five starts, and he has scored at least once in every game this year. Anything short of 100-1 seems like a misprint.

Saquon Barkley, Eagles vs. JAX ($8,200 DK, $9,400 FDWatching Jalen Hurts vulture all the TDs is hard on Barkley owners. Still, he has topped 100 combo yards in every game but one. Only two teams allow more points per game, so Barkley should get in on the scoring fun this week.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons vs. DAL ($7,400 DK, $8,500 FD) Robinson has topped 100 combo yards each of the last three weeks. Over their last three contests, Dallas has allowed 166.3 rushing yards per game (over five yards per carry).

Sleepers

D’Andre Swift, Bears @ ARI ($6,400 DK, $7,200 FD) Since Week 4, among RBs, only Derrick Henry has more total yards. This is impressive since this stretch includes the Bears’ bye week.

Chuba Hubbard, Panthers vs. NO ($6,500 DK, $6,900 FD) Jonathan Brooks (knee) may finally return this week. It won’t matter as over the last four weeks, New Orleans has allowed 709 combo yards and seven TDs to the position.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – This week feels like the week to spend more elsewhere and save here. If you must spend up at WR1, use Justin JeffersonA.J. Brown, or CeeDee Lamb. I’d rather use Cooper Kupp, DeVonta Smith, or Drake LondonJosh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman (back) make great WR2 options on FD & FB. Otherwise, use Jayden ReedChris Olave (if Derek Carr (oblique) plays), Romeo Doubs, or Darnell MooneyCourtland Sutton must be on your roster at WR3 or Flex. If you want to fade the obvious chalk, take a shot on Xavier Legette or Ladd McConkey instead. The Browns matchup is nowhere near as exceptional as last week, but Cedric Tillman and Elijah Moore are cheap enough that they make great punt options. Kalif RaymondParker Washington, and Jalen Coker fit the bill as well.

Fantasy four-pack

A.J. Brown, Eagles vs. JAX ($8,100 DK, $9,000 FD) Jacksonville ranks bottom-five in WR receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs. On the year, Brown has scored in three of four games and is averaging over 100 receiving yards per game. 5-100-1 feels like his floor here.

CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys @ ATL ($8,800, $9,100 FD) Disregarding last week against the makeshift Tampa Bay WR corps, Atlanta has allowed an average of 20.3 PPR points to opposing WR1s this season. Meanwhile, Lamb is coming off his best game of the season (13-146-2) and has 31 targets over his last two games.

Justin Jefferson, Vikings vs. IND (N/A, $9,200 FD) Jefferson ranks second among WRs in receiving yards, but he has scored only once in his last three games. The return of T.J. Hockenson may ding his target share this week, but in an assumed shootout, he will get back in the end zone.

Cooper Kupp, Rams @ SEA ($7,700 DK, $8,200 FD) It didn’t take long for Matthew Stafford to rekindle his affections for Kupp and Puka Nacua (knee). They combined for 12-157-1 on 17 targets. Now, Nacua aggravated his knee injury, so this may all go to Kupp this weekend. Seattle has faced only four “stud” WRs this year, but three of the four have scored. The one exception was Tyreek Hill with Skylar Thompson and Tim Boyle at QB.

Sleepers

Courtland Sutton, Broncos @ BAL ($5,400 DK, $6,000 FD) Sutton ranks 18th overall in targets this season. Unfortunately, with Bo Nix learning on the job, he has only 29 receptions to show for it. That said, the learning curve is reaching its apex as Sutton has topped 15 PPR points in three of his last four starts. Baltimore ranks dead last in yardage and TDs allowed to the position, so the combo should continue to eat here.

Romeo Doubs, Packers vs. DET ($5,700 DK, $6,300 FDAssuming that Jordan Love (groin) plays, this game will be a shootout. Since their bye, Doubs has led the Packers in every receiving category. He is a must-start here as Detroit has allowed at least 16 PPR points to each WR1 they have faced over their last five games.

Weekly strategy – David Njoku and Kyle Pitts are the top options this week. Brock Bowers and Trey McBride are both more expensive and face stiffer competition. Evan Engram could see a volume boost because of injuries. Mark AndrewsTaysom Hill, Noah FantMike Gesicki, and Hunter Henry have favorable matchups for less money. For a deep punt, use Ja’Tavion Sanders or Theo Johnson.

Fantasy four-pack

David Njoku, Browns vs. LAC ($5,500 DK, $7,000 FDOver the last two games (coinciding with the elevation of Jameis Winston) Njoku has posted 15-137-2 on 21 targets. Los Angeles has faced only three elite TEs this year, and all have reached double-digit PPR points.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons vs. DAL ($4,900 DK, $6,000 FDOver his last four games, Pitts is averaging 5.2-79-0.5. Meanwhile, Dallas has allowed four TE scores over the last three weeks.

Brock Bowers, Raiders @ CIN ($6,000 DK, $7,700 FDBowers leads the entire NFL universe in receptions. It helps that he has hauled in 80% of his 65 targets. This sets up nicely as Cincy ranks bottom-seven in every TE receiving category.

Trey McBride, Cardinals vs. CHI ($5,800 DK, $6,800 FD) McBride still hasn’t scored, but he is coming off his best game of the year. He also ranks second in TE receptions and targets, as well as third in TE receiving yards. Over the last two weeks, Chicago has allowed 19-210 to the position.

Sleepers

Taysom Hill, Saints @ CAR ($3,800 DK, $5,900 FD) Carolina has allowed the most passing TDs to opposing QBs, the most rushing TDs to opposing RBs, and the most receiving TDs to opposing TEs. Hill may very well score all three ways this weekend.

Mark Andrews, Ravens vs. DEN ($4,200 DK, $5,800 FD) Andrews has four TDs in the last three games. Denver has been truly tested by the position only once this year. They failed that test (8-97-1) versus Brock Bowers.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 8

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 8 DFS fantasy football.

With no byes this week, the player pool is jumbo-sized. I would rather see a smaller player pool, but we’ll have to widen our net instead. This means setting more lineup combinations than normal. All of the QB injuries will thin out some targets at WR and TE. That is unless you want to relive the glory days of the 2015 draft and roll out lineups led by Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. In their honor, I may need to roll out a lineup with their draftmates: Amari Cooper, Stefon Diggs, Nelson Agholor, and Tyler Lockett.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts are the top two options. Lamar Jackson also has a decent matchup, but the other options have better matchups at cheaper prices. The best thing is there are many value play choices here. Kirk Cousins and Caleb Williams provide 20-plus-point potential at significant cap savings from the higher-priced options. Justin Herbert is a great punt play.

Fantasy four-pack

Jordan Love, Packers @ JAX ($7,600 DK, $8,900 FD): Jacksonville ranks in the bottom five in completion percentage against and passing yards per game allowed. They also have allowed the most total passing TDs. Meanwhile, Love has thrown for 13 TDs over the last four games. Stack him with Romeo Doubs or Jayden Reed.

Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ CIN ($7,500 DK, $8,600 FDNo team has allowed more QB rushing yards than Cincy. Hurts will score on the ground and through the air this week. A.J. Brown will be the popular stack, but consider using DeVonta Smith or Grant  Calcaterra instead for variance.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens @ CLE ($8,000 DK, $8,800 FDCleveland has faced four “rushing” QBs. Those four have combined for 180 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Jackson hasn’t posted less than 40 rushing yards in any game this season. Jackson also has 12 passing TDs and 13 total scores over his last four starts. 250-2 and 40-1 seem in play.

Kirk Cousins, Falcons @ TB ($6,200 DK, $7,100 FD) Only two teams have allowed more total QB TDs than Tampa. This included allowing 509-4 to Cousins three weeks ago. He won’t repeat that line, but 300-3 seems reasonable as the opposition passes on the fourth-most 62.2% of all plays against Tampa.

Sleepers

Caleb Williams, Bears @ WAS ($6,000 DK, $7,400 FDOn paper, it appears that Washington’s secondary is playing better of late. It helps one’s numbers when they face Deshaun Watson and Andy Dalton. The schedule-makers aren’t going to be happy that we are not getting the rookie-rookie battle, but this game should still feature healthy scoring. Stack Williams with two of DJ MooreKeenan Allen, and Cole Kmet.

Justin Herbert, Chargers vs. NO ($5,400 DK, $7,300 FD) It’s taken a while for Herbert to get to know his new-look pass-catching corps. Fortunately, they are starting to develop a rapport with the veteran signal caller. New Orleans is allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game, but they have stalled out the opposition through 10 interceptions. Herbert seldom throws an INT. He has only thrown 43 career interceptions in 2,586 passing attempts for a 1.6%. This ranks third all-time.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Both Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry have safe floors. Still, Kenneth Walker III has a better matchup and a cheaper price. Considering the lack of punt plays this week, you will likely be spending up for two stars. So, save where you can. For pivots, consider Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, and James Cook. Josh Jacobs is my favorite RB2 option. Kareem Hunt (hip), Chuba Hubbard, and D’Andre Swift are my RB2 pivots. Use either Javonte Williams or Rachaad White at FLEX.

Fantasy four-pack

Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks vs. BUF ($7,800 DK, $7,800 FDDespite playing only five games, Walker ranks third among RBs in total TDs. Meanwhile, Buffalo is allowing 160 combo yards per game to opposing RBs and the second-most receptions and receiving yards to the position.

Derrick Henry, Ravens @ CLE ($8,100 DK, $9,200 FDOver his last five games, Henry is averaging 159 scrimmage yards and 1.6 total TDs per game. Cleveland is above average against the run, but Henry is so good that it just doesn’t matter.

Saquon Barkley, Eagles @ CIN ($8,300 DK, $9,100 FDBarkley‘s non-usage in the passing game is befuddling, but he still has reached triple-digit total yards in every game but one. Only four teams have given up more RB rushing TDs than Cincy. The price is slightly inflated, but in a presumed shootout, you could do way worse.

Josh Jacobs, Packers @ JAX ($6,600 DK, $7,500 FDJacobs finally scored his first career receiving TD last week. That’s crazy seeing as how he has seen 45 or more targets each of the last four seasons. Jacksonville has allowed the most RB receptions and receiving yards. Plus, they have allowed the second-most RB receiving scores. Can Jacobs make it two games in a row with a TD reception?

Sleepers

Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. CAR ($6,000 DK, $6,000 FD) Carolina is giving up nearly 32 PPR points per game to opposing RBs. This includes an average of two RB touchdowns per game. Williams finally secured the lion’s share of the touches last week and scored twice. A repeat seems likely.

Kareem Hunt, Chiefs @ LV ($6,300 DK, $8,100 FD) Vegas has allowed three RB rushing scores over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, Hunt (hip) has seen 52 touches and three TDs over his last two games. With a weakened WR corps, expect KC to lean on Hunt once again.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – I expect to save money at this position this week. If I do spend up, it will be for Ja’Marr Chase or A.J. Brown. That said, Drake LondonJayden ReedDJ Moore, Tank Dell, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be more in my WR1 target range. Keenan Allen and Romeo Doubs also are in a juicy position at WR2. Ladd McConkey (hip) will round out my WR2 wishlist. For WR3, use one of the Niners, Buccaneers, Rashod Bateman, or Cedric Tillman.

Fantasy four-pack

Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals vs. PHI ($8,500 DK, $9,200 FD) Chase’s reception count is down this season, but he still ranks first in WR receiving yards and TDs. Before holding the offenses led by Daniel Jones and Deshaun Watson in check, opposing WR1s had averaged 6-92 against this defense, and each of them had scored at least once.

CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys @ SF (N/A, $9,100 FD) Lamb is only available on FD, and his price is borderline astronomical, but he is averaging 10.5 touches and 84 yards per game. If you do a late-game FD stack, use Dak Prescott, Lamb, Jordan Mason, and one of the 49ers fill-in WRs.

A.J. Brown, Eagles @ CIN ($8,200 DK, $9,000 FD) Three games played, each with a TD and two 100-yard performances have Brown averaging 22 PPR points per game played. Cincy has faced only four legit WR1s, three of them have scored, and the other posted 7-111.

Drake London, Falcons @ TB ($7,200 DK, $7,900 FD) In five career games against the Bucs, London has averaged 7.6-107. This includes an impressive 22-326-1 over their last two meetings.

Sleepers

Keenan Allen, Bears @ WAS ($5,800 DK, $6,400 FDAllen has underperformed this season, but he remains one of Caleb Williams‘ favorite targets, especially in the red zone. Multiple similar possession receivers have had success against this defense. Allen is the best stack with Williams here.

Romeo Doubs, Packers @ JAX ($5,700 DK, $6,100 FDDoubs did the squeaky-wheel thing and immediately was fed. Over the last two games, he has hauled in 11-143-2. Consider stacking both Doubs and Jayden Reed with Jordan Love here.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Brock Bowers and Travis Kelce face off in a great TE battle. If you don’t use one of them, use Evan EngramDavid Njoku, Hunter Henry, or Kyle PittsCade Otton is a great value play. Will Dissly and Ja’Tavion Sanders (groin/wrist) are the punt choices.

Fantasy four-pack

Brock Bowers, Raiders @ KC ($6,100 DK, $7,400 FDBowers leads all TEs in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. That will happen when there are no other pass-catching threats on your offense. This is the perfect matchup for him since KC ranks in the bottom three in each of those categories.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs vs. LVR SF ($6,000 DK, $6,900 FD) The addition of DeAndre Hopkins will help some, but with a shortened list of pass-catchers, Kelce will continue to be peppered in targets.

David Njoku, Browns vs. BAL ($5,100 DK, $5,500 FD) Speaking of a shortened list of pass-catchers, Njoku should also continue to feast. Over the last two games, Njoku has led Cleveland in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Plus, he finally has a competent QB.

George Kittle, 49ers vs. DAL (N/A, $7,800 FD) Kittle (foot) finds himself in a spot where this offense may be without Deebo Samuel Sr. (pneumonia) and Jauan Jennings (hip), not to mention Brandon Aiyuk (IR – knee). Dallas has allowed the fifth-most TE scores this season.

Sleepers

Cade Otton, Buccaneers vs. ATL ($3,500 DK, $5,200 FD) You may be noticing a trend at the TE position this week. The Bucs lost their top two WRs for the foreseeable future. Otton immediately stepped up hauling in eight of 10 passes for 100 yards.

Ja’Tavion Sanders, Panthers @ DEN ($3,100 DK, $5,000 FD) The change back to Bryce Young limits Sanders’ (groin/wrist) upside, but he is top 10 among TEs in targets and receptions over the last three weeks.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 7

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 7 DFS fantasy football.

Five of the eight teams playing outside the main slate have anemic offenses. This means the main slate will have a much larger pool of quality players. Enjoy it while you can. Bye-pocalypse is on the horizon in a few short weeks. Unfortunately, with a larger pool to choose from, hitting those sleepers is mandatory. So prepare yourself to enter multiple lineup combinations this week.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Jayden Daniels is the only sure-thing high-priced QB this week. Jared Goff would be my pivot. Jalen HurtsC.J. Stroud, and Jordan Love could also be in play. Sam Darnold and Geno Smith provide some cost savings, but Andy Dalton is the ultimate punt option here.

Fantasy four-pack

Jayden Daniels, Commanders vs. CAR ($7,600 DK, $9,100 FDCarolina is allowing a league-worst 33.8 points per game. This includes allowing the second-most passing TDs and the most rushing TDs. Daniels will score both ways. Just know his ownership % will be high.

C.J. Stroud, Texans @ GB ($7,100 DK, $8,400 FDA nice pivot from Daniels in what should be a shootout. The loss of Nico Collins (IR – hamstring) didn’t slow Stroud last week as he threw for three TDs against a much stingier defense than this one.

Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ NYG ($7,300 DK, $8,500 FDHurts regained his weapons last week and immediately returned to fantasy relevance. The Giants have been mid against the pass, but they rank third-worst in rushing yards allowed to QBs.

Jared Goff, Lions @ MIN ($6,500 DK, $7,800 FD) Minnesota is allowing the league’s third-worst passing yards per game. They also have allowed six passing TDs over their last two outings. Meanwhile, Goff has seven passing TDs over his last three games.

Sleepers

Andy Dalton, Panthers @ WAS ($5,200 DK, $7,300 FDEveryone will be on Jayden Daniels in this game, so opt for the opposition at a lower cost and with lower ownership. Washington has allowed the second-most passing scores and the second-highest opponent passer rating. Pair Dalton with Diontae Johnson (ankle) and/or Xavier Legette and run it back with Terry McLaurin.

Sam Darnold, Vikings vs. DET ($6,200 DK, $7,500 FD) Darnold may have higher ownership than Jared Goff in this contest, but Detroit has a pass-funnel defense as teams throw the ball the second-most 68.5% of the time against them. With multiple weapons for both teams, this could get high-scoring.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Kyren Williams has the easiest matchup while Saquon Barkley gets the revenge game. One of them needs to be in your lineup. The only pivots with positive outlooks are Joe Mixon and David MontgomeryChuba Hubbard and Tony Pollard are the best RB2 choices. The other playable option is whoever starts at RB for Washington. Alexander Mattison and Trey Sermon will have volume punt value as long as Zamir White (groin) and Jonathan Taylor (ankle) remain out.

Fantasy four-pack

Kyren Williams, Rams vs. LVR ($8,100 DK, $8,600 FDVegas allows an atrocious 5.2 YPC to opposing rushers. They also are allowing 26.6 PPR points per game to the position. Despite playing only five games, Williams amazingly is second in total TDs scored.

Saquon Barkley, Eagles @ NYG ($8,200 DK, $9,000 FD) Barkley gets the revenge game against an Giants defense that has struggled with pass-catching RBs. His price is high, but Philly will get him at least one score against his former team.

Joe Mixon, Texans @ GB ($7,200 DK, $8,400 FDDespite playing only two-and-a-half games, Mixon has three total TDs and two 130-plus-yard games. The DK savings from the top two makes him a great pivot if you want to go big at WR.

David Montgomery, Lions @ MIN ($6,600 DK, $8,100 FDThe Vikings’ run defense is elite, but they also have jumped out to leads in most games, effectively forcing an opponent to throw the ball a league-high 72.9% of the time. This game will be much closer, and a shootout. Plus, Montgomery has scored in three of his last four meetings with Minnesota, and the Vikes will be without starting linebacker Blake Cashman.

Sleepers

Austin Ekeler, Commanders vs. CAR ($5,900 DK, $6,600 FD) Carolina is allowing the most total TDs to opposing RBs. This includes allowing nine scores over their last three games. Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) may return this week, but both would still make great plays here. If Robinson remains out, Ekeler could finish top-five in scoring.

Alexander Mattison, Raiders @ LAR ($5,500 DK, $6,100 FD) Mattison had already established a role as a goal-line vulture before Zamir White (groin) went down with an injury. Now, as the lead back, he gets to face a Rams defense that has allowed the fifth-most RB rushing TDs.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – Fill up your platter with Lions, Vikings, Commanders, Panthers, and Packers. Amon-Ra St. Brown is the top player. Justin Jefferson would be the pivot. At WR2, use one of Terry McLaurinJayden Reed (ankle), or Diontae Johnson (ankle). Also, consider the secondary pieces on each of these rosters at WR3. This is the week to do a QB+2 or QB+3 lineup. WR3 punts to consider are Jordan Whittington (shoulder), Noah Brown, Tre Tucker, and JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring).

Fantasy four-pack

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions @ MIN ($8,300 DK, $8,800 FDOpposing WR1s are averaging 7.4-100 against Minnesota. This includes allowing their last two opposing WR1s to average 10-120-1. Plus, St. Brown posted 19-252-2 against the Vikings last season. If you don’t use St. Brown, fit Jameson Williams into your lineup as a WR2.

Justin Jefferson, Vikings vs. DET ($8,500 DK, $9,400 FD) Jefferson is pricier than Amon-Ra St. Brown, but both are in play in this shootout. Mike Evans is the only WR1 not to top 15 PPR points against this defense.

Jayden Reed, Packers vs. HOU ($7,200 DK, $7,600 FDReed (ankle) was limited last week by injury, but he still scored. Houston has allowed the third-most WR scores, including a pair to the laughable New England WR room last week. Watch the injury report here, but if Reed plays, he will score at least once.

A.J. Brown, Eagles @ NYG ($8,000 DK, $8,900 FD) Brown averages 23.3 PPR points per game. Meanwhile, the Giants remain middle of the pack against WRs, and half of the WR1s facing them have scored at least once this season.

Sleepers

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs @ SF ($4,000 DK, $6,100 FD) At this price, it won’t take much for JuJu to reach 3x value. With all the WR injuries to KC, Smith-Schuster went bonkers in Week 5. He could easily top 4x value here as long as the hamstring injury that popped up Thursday doesn’t limit him. If he remains limited on Sunday, consider Noah Brown as a replacement for DK and Romeo Doubs on FD.

Jordan Whittington, Rams vs. LVR ($4,800 DK, $5,300 FDWhittington (shoulder) came out of nowhere to draw 18 targets in the last two games. If Cooper Kupp (ankle) remains out, Whittington should continue to see a healthy target share. Vegas’ pass defense numbers look solid, but they have faced a cream-puff schedule.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Spend up for one of the top four options. Dalton Schultz and David Njoku are the top pivots. You also can take a chance on Kyle PittsJa’Tavion Sanders and Theo Johnson are bottom-of-the-barrel punts.

Fantasy four-pack

George Kittle, 49ers vs. KC ($6,000 DK, $7,500 FDDespite playing only five games, no team has allowed more receptions to the position. KC also has given up the second-most total yards to the position. Meanwhile, despite missing a game, Kittle ranks top-four in TE receptions, receiving yards, and targets. Plus, he leads the league in TE touchdowns.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs @ SF ($6,300 DK, $7,100 FD) This is a great opportunity to go double-TE in the same game. Over his last two starts, Kelce has hauled in 16 of his 19 targets for 159 yards.

Brock Bowers, Raiders @ LAR ($5,800 DK, $7,000 FD) Bowers leads all TEs in every category except TDs. Now, he faces a team that has allowed the second-most TE scores. Something has to give here. As the only reliable target for Aidan O’Connell, the targets will continue to be astronomical.

Sam LaPorta, Lions @ MIN ($5,300 DK, $6,500 FD) In three of their last four contests, Minnesota has allowed double-digit PPR points to the position. While his usage has been sporadic, LaPorta has topped 50 receiving yards in back-to-back games.

Sleepers

Dalton Schultz, Texans @ GB ($4,200 DK, $5,200 FDIn the first game without Nico Collins (IR – hamstring), Schultz finished second on the team with eight targets. Now, he gets to face a Green Bay defense that has allowed an average of 16.6 PPR points to the position over their last four games.

David Njoku, Browns vs. CIN ($4,100 DK, $5,300 FDSomeone has to catch the ball for Cleveland. Finally healthy, Njoku saw seven targets last week. That number could double here, especially after the trade of Amari Cooper this week.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 6

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 6 DFS fantasy football.

With the byes and another London game, Week 6 brings another thinner slate. The smaller pool of players makes it easier to identify top sleepers, but with this comes higher ownership. This means you want to be even more risky in your build strategy. Fortunately, three games project as high scoring. That said, three games also project low scoring. Watch the Vegas lines, because 50% of the time, they are right every time.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels face off and each makes a brilliant play. If you want a pivot, use Dak Prescott. I also like Kirk Cousins, but he may have expanded ownership after last week’s explosion. If you punt the position, consider Daniel Jones on FD and Justin Fields on DK.

Fantasy four-pack

Lamar Jackson, Ravens vs. WAS ($7,800 DK, $9,500 FD) Washington has improved over the last two weeks. They still rank dead last in passing TDs allowed. Meanwhile, Jackson averages 73 rushing yards per game and has nine total TDs over his last three games.

Jayden Daniels, Commanders @ BAL ($7,300 DK, $8,700 FDThis game will be a shootout. Baltimore has allowed more passing yards than any other team. They have also given up the sixth-most passing TDs. That said, this game will be all about the Konami QBs facing off. Both should hit the 23-point mark.

Dak Prescott, Cowboys vs. DET ($6,700 DK, $8,000 FDPrescott just led a comeback against a fierce Pittsburgh defense. That performance catapulted Dak into second place in passing yards. In a shootout, expect both QBs to blow past the 300-yard threshold.

Kirk Cousins, Falcons @ CAR ($6,200, $7,400 FD) Cousins passed for more yards in each half of Sunday’s game than he had in any other full contest this season. That came against a 31st-ranked Tampa Bay pass defense. This week, he faces the 27th-ranked pass defense in Carolina. Don’t expect another 500-yard performance, but 350-3 is in play.

Sleepers

Justin Fields, Steelers @ LVR ($5,800 DK, $7,600 FDDK has delayed upping Fields’ price. Take advantage of that against a team that has allowed seven total TDs in the last three weeks despite facing the unholy trinity of Andy DaltonDeshaun Watson, and Bo Nix

Daniel Jones, Giants vs. CIN (N/A, $6,800 FDDespite the absence of Malik Nabers (concussion), Jones had another QB2-worthy performance in Week 5. Cincy is tied for the most total TDs allowed to opposing QBs. Specifically, rushing QBs have found success against this defense. Jones can do damage with his feet, but a return for Nabers should mean success both ways.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Derrick Henry remains the flag bearer for the position this week. Alvin Kamara faces a defense that struggles with pass-catching backs, but his QB situation makes him a tough go. The pivots to consider are Bijan Robinson, Josh Jacobs, and either of the Detroit Lions. J.K. Dobbins and Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) are great RB2 options. I also like Najee HarrisTyrone Tracy Jr. and Chase Brown (quad) are only available on FD, but injuries to the lead men in front of them, put them both in play. Alexander Mattison and Javonte Williams have the lead back role and each is in play as a volume punt.

Fantasy four-pack

Derrick Henry, Ravens vs. WAS ($8,000 DK, $9,100 FDHenry leads the league in total TDs and yards from scrimmage. That number is going up here against a Commanders defense allowing the second-worst 5.1 YPC.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons @ CAR ($6,600 DK, $8,500 FD) Robinson gets to face a Carolina defense allowing an average of 156-2 to opposing RBs. Plus, his sporadic usage in recent weeks should keep his ownership low.

Josh Jacobs, Packers vs. ARI ($6,700 DK, $7,600 FD) Green Bay has given Jacobs 67% of their total RB touches. This is nice as Arizona is allowing a league-worst 185.3 rushing yards per game over their last three contests.

David Montgomery, Lions @ DAL ($6,500 DK, $7,900 FDThe usage split between Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs has been nearly 50/50, but Montgomery has scored in every game. Both are in play against a Dallas defense that has allowed 232 rushing yards per game at home.

Sleepers

Najee Harris, Steelers @ LVR ($5,800 DK, $7,200 FD) With neither Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) nor Jaylen Warren (knee) expected to play, Harris should once again receive a bell-cow’s workload. I would like to finally see a TD from Harris; regardless, I am pleased with his receiving role in the last two weeks.

Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. LAC ($5,500 DK, $5,900 FD) Over the last two weeks, Williams has nearly a 2-to-1 touch advantage over Jaleel McLaughlin. Unfortunately, Williams has not scored this season. If he finally rides his usage into the end zone, he could surpass 3x value.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – CeeDee Lamb is the top option on the docket. Consider Ja’Marr Chase as a pivot on FD. There are a ton of injury question marks remaining among the higher-priced choices. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jayden Reed are the only other two that I feel confident in. Chris GodwinZay Flowers, and Terry McLaurin are the top WR2 options. Wan’Dale Robinson also can be used as a WR2 on FD, especially if Malik Nabers (concussion) remains out. The WR3 options would be Tank DellJosh DownsDarnell Mooney, and Jalen Tolbert. You also can punt with Michael WilsonDarius Slayton, or Rashod Bateman.

Fantasy four-pack

CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys vs. DET ($8,600 DK, $9,300 FDDespite playing only four games, Detroit has allowed the fifth-most receiving yards to opposing WRs. Plus, two of the teams ahead of them in that category are off of the main slate this week. Lamb saw nine targets in the first game following Brandin Cooks (IR – knee) going on IR. That number will go up here.

Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals @ NYG (N/A DK, $9,500 FDWith Nico Collins (IR – ankle) on IR, Chase trails only Jayden Reed among WRs in total yards. This is amazing as following his hold-in, Chase started the year with two putrid duds. Meanwhile, opposing WR1s have already scored four times versus this defense.

Jayden Reed, Packers vs. ARI ($7,000 DK, $7,700 FD) Reed has only 21 targets and just 29 total opportunities, but he ranks second among WRs and fifth overall in total yards from scrimmage. Meanwhile, over their last three games, Arizona has allowed an average of 20.5 PPR points to opposing WR1s.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions @ DAL ($8,100 DK, $9,000 FDThis game has the highest combined line of the week. Unfortunately, Dallas has been solid against opposing WR1s, with only Malik Nabers topping 12 PPR points. Still, St. Brown is averaging 19.8 PPR points per game over his last three games, so the volume should add up here.

Sleepers

Darnell Mooney, Falcons @ CAR ($5,300 DK, $6,500 FDCarolina has allowed the third-most eight total WR scores this season. A closer look shows that an opposing WR1 scored only three of those TDs (and two of those came this past week from DJ Moore in a revenge game). Quietly, Mooney (knee) ranks 15th with 40 targets, so the opportunities will be there should he suit up.

Jalen Tolbert, Cowboys vs. DET ($5,000 DK, $6,100 FDI already detailed Detroit’s issues with WRs. What I didn’t mention was that opposing WR2s have averaged 7.3-77 versus their defense over the last three games. Build the triple stack with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, and then run it back with either Amon-Ra St. Brown or Jameson Williams.

Will Dissly $2,700 $4,800
Adam Trautman $2,600 $4,500
Hayden Hurst $2,600 $4,600

Tight end

Weekly strategy – The TE position is thin but attractive this week. Of course, this means they will probably all crap out here. Trey McBride and Tucker Kraft are the safest plays. Brock BowersKyle Pitts, and Dalton Schultz are the best pivots. That said, I want more money for RB and WR, so I will probably go on the cheap and use one of Zach ErtzCade Otton, or Hunter Henry.

Fantasy four-pack

Trey McBride, Cardinals @ GB ($5,700 DK, $6,500 FDMcBride has yet to score, but he led the Cardinals in targets last week. Green Bay has struggled with TEs over their last three games, allowing 21-160-2.

Brock Bowers, Raiders vs. PIT ($6,000 DK, $6,700 FDBowers now ranks first among TEs in receptions, targets, and receiving yards. My only concern here is with Aidan O’Connell taking over at QB, and what Bowers’ usage will be like.

Tucker Kraft, Packers vs. ARI ($4,800 DK, $6,000 FD) Over the last two weeks, Kraft has posted 10-141-3. Meanwhile, over their last three games, Arizona has allowed an average of 6-55 to the position.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons @ CAR ($4,400 DK, $5,900 FDNo, I don’t trust Pitts. Still, he is coming off his best game of the season, and Atlanta will look to replicate the game plan that produced this prodigious output. Carolina is mid against the position, so take a chance here.

Sleepers

Zach Ertz, Commanders @ BAL ($3,700 DK, $5,000 FD) Baltimore has allowed the second-most receptions and third-most yards to the position. This game should be high scoring, and Ertz is option B in the Commanders’ passing game.

Cade Otton, Buccaneers @ NOS ($3,500 DK, $5,200 FD) Otton isn’t a sexy pick, but if you are looking for 5-50 from your discount TE, play him and save money for elsewhere. The yardage is safe as only two teams have allowed more yards to the position.

Jacoby Brissett $4,900 $6,500

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Jordan LoveLamar Jackson, and Justin Fields are the best high-priced options. Joe Burrow is the top pivot, and he should have lower ownership. I love saving money at QB this week with Joe Flacco, presuming Anthony Richardson (oblique) is out. Andy Dalton and Deshaun Watson make nice punt options.

Fantasy four-pack

Lamar Jackson, Ravens @ CIN ($7,500 DK, $8,800 FD) Cincinnati has allowed seven total QB scores over their last three games. Plus, Jackson has averaged 77 rushing yards per game on the ground.

Josh Allen, Bills @ HOU ($7,700 DK, $9,300 FDAllen was skunked last week, but he still ranks third among QBs with nine total TDs. Houston has allowed multiple TDs to opposing QBs in three of four games.

Jordan Love, Packers @ LAR ($6,500 DK, $8,200 FDOnly two teams have allowed more passing TDs than the Rams. Meanwhile, Love returned last week and showed no rust by throwing for 389-4 against a tougher Minnesota defense. You should stack Love with Jayden Reed and maybe Tucker Kraft.

Justin Fields, Steelers vs. DAL (N/A DK, $7,600 FD) Dallas cannot stop anyone on the ground. Fields should emulate Lamar Jackson, who just ran for 87-1 against the Cowboys last week. Any passing stats are gravy.

Sleepers

Joe Flacco, Colts @ JAX ($5,500 DK, $6,800 FD) Anthony Richardson (oblique) is questionable at best for this weekend. I am certain that the Colts WRs hope that he is out. If Richardson misses this game, consider Flacco, Josh Downs, and Michael Pittman Jr. elite discount playsIf Richardson does play, swap out Flacco for Andy Dalton or Deshaun Watson, and pivot away from Michael Pittman.

Deshaun Watson, Browns @ WAS ($5,300 DK, $6,900 FDTrusting Watson is not something I want to do most weeks. That said, I would trust Uncle Rico and Shane Falco to put up stellar passing numbers against this sievelike defense. Watson’s passing numbers have been mediocre this year, but he is averaging nearly 30 rushing yards per game. Plus, he may get David Njoku (ankle) back this week.

D’Onta Foreman $4,200 $5,100
Cordarrelle Patterson N/A $5,000

Running back

Weekly strategy – Derrick Henry and Jordan Mason are the only sure things up top. You must roster at least one of these two. Kyren Williams is the only possible pivot. Kenneth Walker III, D’Andre Swift, and Josh Jacobs are my favorite RB2 options. You can also take a shot at Najee Harris and Chuba Hubbard. If Johnathan Taylor (ankle) is out, you can punt with Trey Sermon. Only Sermon and Javonte Williams are in consideration for this role.

Fantasy four-pack

Derrick Henry, Ravens @ CIN ($7,800 DK, $9,200 FDComing off a gutting of Buffalo, Henry is now up to six total TDs. He is also averaging over 190 total yards per game in his last two contests. Cincy is allowing the seventh-most rushing yards per game, and three of four lead backs to face them have scored.

Jordan Mason, 49ers vs. ARI ($7,400 DK, $8,700 FD) McCaffrey who? Mason has averaged 126 combo yards per game, and he has scored in three of four. Meanwhile, Arizona has allowed a league-worst eight rushing TDs.

Kyren Williams, Rams vs. GB ($7,600 DK, $8,400 FDIgnoring a brilliant performance against a rotten Tennessee offense, the Green Bay defense has allowed at least 132 total yards to each other lead back they have faced this season. Williams has scored at least once in every game this season. There is no reason that these trends won’t continue here.

Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks vs. NYG ($6,800 DK, $7,400 FDWalker showed zero rust while gashing a previously elite Detroit run defense. Now, he gets to face a New York rushing defense that allows 28 more rushing yards per game than Detroit.

Sleepers

D’Andre Swift, Bears vs. CAR ($5,700 DK, $6,400 FD) Carolina is allowing a league second-worst 159 combo yards per game to opposing RBs. They also have allowed seven total scores to the position. The timing is perfect for Swift, who is coming off his best offensive performance in nearly a full calendar year.

Trey Sermon, Colts @ JAX ($5,700 DK, $5,900 FD) Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is expected to miss this game, which would open the door for Sermon to eat against a Jaguars defense that has allowed four RB scores over their last two games.

K.J. Osborn $3,300 $4,800
Lil’Jordan Humphrey $3,200 $4,900

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – Marvin Harrison Jr. and Nico Collins are the only expensive options to trust this week. Still, I prefer grabbing two third-tier WRs instead of spending up here. Jayden ReedMichael Pittman Jr., Amari Cooper, and Diontae Johnson could be among that pair. Also, Stefon Diggs gets another revenge game opportunity. George Pickens, Christian Kirk, and Wan’Dale Robinson are WR2 pivots if you spend up at WR1. Gamers also can play them at WR3. The top punt options are Josh Downs, Tre Tucker, Jordan Whittington, and Xavier Legette.

Fantasy four-pack

Nico Collins, Texans vs. BUF ($7,700 DK, $8,800 FDConsider both Collins and Stefon Diggs versus a decent Buffalo pass defense in what should be a shootout. Diggs gets the revenge game narrative, but Collins has ten more targets than Diggs this season. If Tank Dell (chest) returns, both will take a slight dent.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals @ SF ($7,500 DK, $7,400 FDHarrison posted a slight dud last week. Still, he scored for the fourth time in his last three games. San Francisco is much better against the run than the pass. They are allowing a league fourth-worst 11.2 yards per reception.

Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals vs. BAL ($8,000 DK, $9,300 FD) Chase is not seeing the target volume we’d like, but he has scored three times in the last two games. Plus, Baltimore has allowed the eighth-most WR receiving yards.

Jayden Reed, Packers @ LAR ($6,500 DK, $7,200 FDOnly two teams have allowed more total TDs to opposing WRs. As for Reed, only one WR has more total scrimmage yards. He should post 125 total yards and a score here.

Sleepers

Wan’Dale Robinson, Giants @ SEA ($5,600 DK, $6,100 FDWith Malik Nabers (concussion) highly questionable for this weekend, Robinson will serve as the lead WR for the Giants. Robinson (heel) has flown under the radar this season, but only four WRs have seen more targets. Be sure to check on his status, however.

Tre Tucker, Raiders @ DEN ($4,100 DK, $5,800 FDSpeaking of under-the-radar WRs, Tucker has 15 targets over the last two weeks, and he scored in each of those games. With Davante Adams (hamstring/trade demands) out, expect Tucker to continue to serve as the field stretcher in this offense.

Greg Dulcich $2,700 $4,400
Luke Musgrave $2,700 $4,900
Kylen Granson $2,600 $4,600

Tight end

Weekly strategy – We long for a return from Trey McBride (concussion) and David Njoku (ankle). Their presence improves the field dramatically. McBride appears ready to play. George Kittle, Josh Ferguson, and Dalton Kincaid have the safest path to success. Consider punting with Mike GesickiZach Ertz, or Tucker Kraft.

Fantasy four-pack

George Kittle, 49ers vs. ARI ($5,600 DK, $7,000 FDKittle (ribs) is the only TE to top 8.0 PPR points in every game that he has played this year. Arizona has started the season solid against the position, but their historical struggles are legendary. This includes allowing five scores to Kittle in their last five meetings.

Dalton Kincaid, Bills @ HOU ($5,300 DK, $6,100 FD) With Khalil Shakir (ankle) questionable for this game, Kincaid will see a boost in targets. Houston has looked strong against the position this season, but they also have faced only one TE who is even slightly above average.

Josh Ferguson, Cowboys @ PIT (N/A DK, $6,200 FD) Despite an injury-caused goose egg in Week 2, Ferguson ranks third in TE targets, fifth in TE receptions, and sixth in TE receiving yards. Pittsburgh is one of five teams to have given up multiple TE scores.

Trey McBride, Cardinals @ SF ($5,900 DK, $6,500 FD) In the ever-growing TE wasteland, we need McBride (concussion) to return this week as he was tied for the league lead in TE targets for the first three weeks.

Sleepers

Zach Ertz, Commanders vs. CLE ($3,800 DK, $5,000 FD) Ertz ranks top nine in both TE receptions and yardage, and he has caught 15 of his 16 targets. That DK price is too low here.

Mike Gesicki, Bengals vs. BAL ($3,400 DK, $5,300 FD) Erick All Jr. has stolen some of Gesicki’s shine, but the veteran still is 10th in TE targets and tied for ninth in TE receiving yards. Coming off of an epic dud, he will have zero ownership. Still, this matchup demands attention as Baltimore has allowed the second-most TE yards (82) per game.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 4

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 4 DFS fantasy football.

The main slate was rough in Week 3 as the early afternoon games all proved to be dogs. Fortunately, the afternoon and primetime slates brought some sanity back to things. We saw Philly’s defense finally play as a unit. We saw Minnesota’s defense continue to play well beyond the sum of its pieces. Finally, we saw the top tight ends continue to be invisible. Will these trends continue here? Read on and dominate Week 4.

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – Kyler Murray and Jayden Daniels are the top options. C.J. Stroud and Joe Burrow are cheaper on FD and should have lower ownership. Caleb Williams, Sam Darnold, and Justin Fields all have positive matchups. Still, the best punt options would be Deshaun Watson or Andy Dalton.

Fantasy four-pack

Kyler Murray, Cardinals vs. WAS ($6,800 DK, $8,700 FD) Washington is once again worst in passing TDs allowed, and opponent passer rating. They are showing slight improvement as they are now only second worst in passing yards against. Plus, they have allowed nearly 20 rushing yards per game to opposing QBs. Coming off his so-so start, take advantage of a likely dip in ownership.

Josh Allen, Bills @ BAL (N/A DK, $9,200 FD) The one team allowing more passing yards per game than Washington is Baltimore, nearly 40 yards more per game. Meanwhile, Allen leads all QBs in total TDs, and 300-3 is definitely in play. Stack him with Khalil Shakir or Dalton Kincaid.

Jayden Daniels, Commanders @ ARI ($6,500 DK, $8,200 FD) Daniels trails only Lamar Jackson in QB rushing yards, and his three rushing TDs lead the position. Arizona already gave up a pair of rushing scores to Josh Allen, so don’t be surprised if Daniels runs wild.

C.J. Stroud, Texans vs. JAX ($7,000 DK, $7,800 FD) Coming off of an inauspicious start, Stroud should have zero issues dispatching a Jacksonville defense that was just gutted by Buffalo. Plus, last week’s struggles should keep his ownership numbers down.

Sleepers

Caleb Williams, Bears vs. LAR ($5,600 DK, $7,100 FDWilliams is still a greenhorn by NFL standards, but last week he showed some of his fantasy luster against a middling Colts defense. This week he faces a Rams defense that has allowed back-to-back three-TD passing performances.

Andy Dalton, Panthers vs. CIN ($5,300 DK, $7,000 FDDalton provided a spark. Even with Adam Thielen (hamstring) going on IR, Dalton has enough weapons to do some discount damage in what could be a shootout.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Saquon Barkley has a great matchup but an absurd price. Bijan Robinson (shoulder) and Breece Hall are cheaper alternatives. I also like Kyren Williams. For RB2, take advantage of the Aaron Jones revenge game. Otherwise, use Brian Robinson Jr. or Zack Moss. You also may use one of them at FLEX. If not, punt with whoever starts for Cleveland or the Texans.

Fantasy four-pack

Saquon Barkley, Eagles @ TB ($8,000 DK, $9,700 FD) Opposing RBs are averaging 153 combo yards, eight receptions, and one total TD against Tampa. This line is certainly within the scope of Barkley’s range, especially with absentee WRs for Philly.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons vs. NO ($7,400 DK, $8,300 FD) Robinson faces the same defense that was just trucked by Saquon Barkley for 156 total yards, four receptions, and two TDs (plus a two-point conversion). Robinson (shoulder) popped up on the injury report Thursday, so keep an eye out before game time. He is currently out-touching Tyler Allgeier nearly 3-to-1, but this could swing things. If Bijan is out, Allgeier becomes a fabulous sleeper.

Breece Hall, Jets vs. DEN ($7,800 DK, $8,000 FDThe increased usage by Braelon Allen concerns me some, but Hall has scored in all three games, and he is being used in the passing game. That is big as Denver is allowing five RB receptions per game.

Kyren Williams, Rams @ CHI ($7,300 DK, $8,100 FD) I was concerned about teams stacking their defense against Williams. It didn’t matter. Williams still hit triple digits and scored three times. For Chicago, only three teams have allowed more RB rushing scores. At least one TD is a lock here.

Sleepers

Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders @ ARI ($6,100 DK, $7,300 FD) Austin Ekeler (concussion) will miss this contest. This opens up a true bell-cow role for Robinson. In every game dating back to the start of 2023, where Robinson has 14 or more touches, he has scored and/or topped 100 total yards.

Jerome Ford, Browns @ LV ($5,700 DK, $6,400 FD) Ford (knee) was listed as questionable on Wednesday. Still, he played 53 of 67 offensive snaps last week, so the injury did not seem to affect him. Vegas is allowing 165 combo yards per game, and they have given up four total RB scores. If he suits up, he needs to be in your lineup. If he doesn’t start, immediately insert D’Onta Foreman into your lineup.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – Marvin Harrison Jr. (quadriceps) should be a mortal lock at WR1. The only pivot I like is Nico Collins. If you don’t use Collins, consider Stefon Diggs at WR2. Otherwise, use one of the Buccaneers, DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin, or Tee HigginsKhalil Shakir also is an option on FD and FB. At WR3, Diontae Johnson is my favorite play. Jauan Jennings will be heavily owned after last week, but his price is still usable. My favorite punt WR3 options are Jahan DotsonMichael WilsonAndrei Iosivas, and Darnell Mooney.

Fantasy four-pack

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals vs. WAS ($7,500 DK, $8,200 FDOpposing WR1s are averaging 7-102-1.7 against Washington. Assuming his quad injury doesn’t limit him, this is the easiest play of the week.

Nico Collins, Texans vs. JAX ($7,200 DK, $7,700 FDCollins has scored only once, but he is averaging 6-113 to start the year. Meanwhile, Jacksonville allows the third-most passing yards and fifth-most passing TDs per game.

Rashee Rice, Chiefs @ LAC ($7,300 DK, $8,500 FDRice has been a target beast for Kansas City, accounting for 43% of the team’s looks. With Derwin James out because of suspension, stopping this offense became more difficult.

Justin Jefferson, Vikings @ GB ($8,700 DK, $9,400 FD) Jefferson has scored in each game. There is no reason to think this trend will change. Still, six receptions are not enough. Considering his price, I will fade him. That said, with so many stud WRs injured, he could be an interesting contrarian play.

Sleepers

Diontae Johnson, Panthers vs. CIN ($5,600 DK, $6,200 FDJohnson (groin) would probably agree to a pay cut if the Panthers named Andy Dalton the starter for the rest of the season. That won’t happen, but ride the wave as long as you are allowed. Johnson was a beast last week, and with no Adam Thielen (IR – hamstring) those numbers will go even further through the roof. Two straight WR1s have scored against this defense. This will be No. 3.

Darnell Mooney, Falcons vs. NO ($4,400 DK, $5,700 FDMooney has back-to-back powerful performances as defense key on Drake London (who scored in both games anyway). With Marshon Lattimore likely tasked with London here, Mooney should get softer coverage again for more than $1,000 less cost.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Injuries and ineffectiveness have neutralized the best TEs. Travis Kelce has an elite matchup, as does Trey McBride (concussion) … if he plays. Dallas Goedert will be my top play on DK, but his FD price is too high. For FD, consider Kyle Pitts or Cole Kmet instead. There are some fabulous punt options this week. Use Tyler ConklinZach ErtzMike Gesicki, or one of the Chargers to save some money.

Fantasy four-pack

Dallas Goedert, Eagles @ TB ($5,100 DK, $7,500 FDGoedert went ballistic last week with all the Eagles’ injuries. It is the status quo for the injuries entering this week. Expect another strong game.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs @ LAC ($5,800 DK, $7,100 FDKelce has been a dud to start the season, but he has gone nuclear in each of the last five meetings against the Chargers by averaging 8-128 with six touchdowns.

Dalton Kincaid, Bills @ BAL (N/A DK, $6,100 FD) Kincaid made it into the end zone last week and saw his best output of the year. The timing is right as he now faces a Baltimore defense allowing an average of 7.7-93 to the position.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons vs. NO ($4,800 DK, $5,900 FD) Despite seeing a drop in snaps for a third straight week, Pitts saw five targets and hauled in a 50-plus-yard pass. This week he faces a New Orleans defense that was just gashed by Dallas Goedert.

Sleepers

Cole Kmet, Bears vs. LAR ($4,400 DK, $5,300 FDThis feels like chasing stats, but Chicago peppered Kmet last week. Things get even easier this week versus a Rams defense that has allowed the fourth-most TE receiving yards.

Tyler Conklin, Jets vs. DEN ($3,600 DK, $5,100 FD) Conklin led the Jets in receptions and receiving yards last week while finishing behind only Garrett Wilson in targets. With Wilson wrangled by Patrick Surtain II, Aaron Rodgers will lean on his TE. Denver is mediocre against the position this season, but it allowed the most TE scores in 2023.

Fantasy Football DFS Domination: Week 3

Breaking down the top players and sleepers for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 3 DFS fantasy football.

Week 2 saw an early injury to Cooper Kupp strangle my attempts at a massive payday. Predicting and fading an injury from a previously uninjured player is impossible. Kupp certainly wasn’t the only player crushed by injury this week. Several superstars will be missing the next few weeks with semi-major injuries. Heck, even I, too, find myself on the IR with plantar fasciitis. Fortunately, I don’t need my feet to type this article. So, tape up and tap into Week 3 Domination!

Quarterback

Weekly strategy – You might as well spend up at QB this week. There are only two solid plays in the second-tier pricing, Jared Goff and Derek Carr. There are also only two punt options, Sam Darnold and Justin Fields, and I am not overly confident in either of them.

Fantasy four-pack

C.J. Stroud, Texans @ MIN ($7,100 DK, $8,200 FD) Stroud is the safest play because of the sheer volume of his weapons and the sheer mediocrity of the Vikings’ secondary talent. Stack Stroud with Stefon Diggs in the revenge game.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens @ DAL ($7,500 DK, $8,800 FD) Last week, Dallas struggled with the Saints and is slipping into passing defense mediocrity. That said, you are playing Jackson for his legs (almost 8 YPC) and any passing numbers are gravy.

Kyler Murray, Cardinals vs. DET ($6,900 DK, $8,300 FDAfter finishing 2023 as the fourth-worst pass defense, Detroit has improved. Unfortunately, that improvement is only up to fifth-worst. Meanwhile, Murray threw for three scores last week and is averaging over 11 YPC.

Jalen Hurts, Eagles @ NO ($7,300 DK, $8,500 FDPlaying without A.J. Brown (hamstring), Hurts only threw for one TD last week. Still, he ran for 85 yards and another score. Those are RB numbers juicing already decent pass numbers in what should be a shootout.

Sleepers

Derek Carr, Saints vs. PHI ($5,800 DK, $7,900 FDDK continues to price Carr like a 1980s Yugo. Klint Kubiak has completely rebuilt this late model and outfitted him with a new V8 engine. The FD price is more appropriate, especially in what should be a shootout against a Philly defense that has given up an average of 250-2 through the first two weeks.

Sam Darnold, Texans @ MIN ($5,500 DK, $7,100 FD) Darnold has looked like a completely different QB this season. It helps to have talent around you and a coach who doesn’t have his head up his posterior. Minnesota will have to throw a lot to keep up with the Texans. As long as Justin Jefferson (quadriceps) and Jordan Addison (ankle) play, Darnold should be able to keep this one close.

Running back

Weekly strategy – Alvin Kamara has found a fountain of youth. Ride him until his carriage turns back into a pumpkin. Saquon Barkley and Bijan Robinson make lesser-owned pivots. Derrick Henry and Rachaad White have easy matchups and usage concerns. You also can use Jordan Mason on DK, but his FD price is too high. For RB2, I like Aaron Jones, Tony Pollard, and Zamir White. Punt with whoever starts for Houston if Joe Mixon (ankle) is out.

Fantasy four-pack

Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. PHI ($7,500 DK, $8,400 FD) I thought Philly had a strong run defense. I was wrong. Opposing RBs are averaging 169.5 total yards per game. Kamara is toting the rock like it’s 2020. I’d even consider stacking him with Derek Carr.

Bijan Robinson, Falcons vs. KC ($X,XXX DK, $8,500 FD) I didn’t love the extra usage from Tyler Allgeier last week, but you can not ignore the fact that the Falcons are weaponizing Robinson in a much saner manner than last year. He should be a lock for a 20-PPR point floor every week.

Saquon Barkley, Eagles @ NO ($7,700 DK, $8,700 FD) Barkley has averaged 124 combo yards per game. This will be his toughest game of the season, but the Eagles will lean heavily on him with A.J. Brown (hamstring) out.

Derrick Henry, Ravens @ DAL ($6,500 DK, $7,800 FD) Henry had a dud Week 1 because of the game script. He righted the ship in Week 2 and should continue to improve this week, as Dallas was whooped on by Alvin Kamara and Jerome Ford in back-to-back games.

Sleepers

Zamir White, Raiders vs. CAR ($5,500 DK, $6,000 FDCarolina followed up Week 1’s 172-2 allowed to opposing RBs with an equally putrid 201-1 in Week 2. White may split touches with Alexander Mattison, but he holds a greater than 2-to-1 advantage. Both are playable here.

Tony Pollard, Titans vs. GB ($6,000 DK, $6,800 FD) With Tyjae Spears (ankle) questionable, Pollard will see a boost in touches. This puts him in the safe pivot category, especially against a Packers defense that allowed 144 total yards to opposing RBs in both games.

Wide receiver

Weekly strategy – CeeDee Lamb, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Amon-Ra St. Brown are the best options for WR1. Also, consider targeting a pair of Tier 2 options: Chris GodwinRashee RiceDK Metcalf (hand), or Stefon Diggs. For WR3, use Jaxon Smith-NjigbaRashid Shaheed, Alec Pierce, or one of the Rams. If you punt WR3, consider Jauan Jennings, Elijah Moore, or Josh Reynolds.

Fantasy four-pack

CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys vs. BAL ($8,800 DK, $9,300 FD) The price and perception should keep his ownership down. Still, 65% of the WR receptions and WR yardage against Baltimore has come from their opponent’s WR1.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions @ ARI ($8,200 DK, $9,100 FD) St. Brown received the squeaky wheel grease last week. Coming off a Week 1 dud, he saw 19 targets. Build a stack with Kyler MurrayMarvin Harrison Jr., and St. Brown.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals vs. DET ($7,400 DK, $7,500 FD) Turns out that targeting your stud rookie WR works. Kyler Murray hopefully got the message. Plus, Detroit has allowed the most WR yardage through the first two weeks.

Stefon Diggs, Texans @ MIN ($6,600 DK, $6,900 FD) This may be the easiest revenge game narrative to exploit in the history of the NFL. Diggs was a target hog with the Vikings, and he felt disrespected when they dealt him. He will go ham here.

Sleepers

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seahawks vs. MIA ($5,400 DK, $6,100 FD) The algorithm hasn’t kicked up JSN’s price tag … yet. Earning 16 targets in Week 2 paced his first-ever 100-yard game. This feels like a watershed moment for Jaxon.

Rashid Shaheed, Saints vs. PHI ($5,300 DK, $6,300 FD) He may never top six receptions, but Shaheed has led all WRs in 50-plus-yard catches since the start of 2023, including two TDs of that variety this season. Meanwhile, Philadelphia has allowed a WR2 to catch a 40-yard-yard TD in both games.

Tight end

Weekly strategy – Trey McBrideKyle PittsBrock Bowers, and George Kittle are all in play up top. Otherwise, spend down for Pat FreiermuthColby Parkinson, or Jonnu Smith.

Fantasy four-pack

Trey McBride, Cardinals vs. DET ($6,200 DK, $6,800 FDDetroit has not seen an elite TE this season, but they allowed the eighth-most yards to the position in 2023. McBride has been tame compared to his output from last year. This could be his breakout game.

George Kittle, 49ers @ LAR ($5,700 DK, $7,100 FDan injury to Deebo Samuel (calf) eliminates another passing game weapon for San Fran. Kittle (hamstring) saw eight targets last week. That number should climb again against a Rams defense that has allowed the fifth-most TE receptions and the third-most TE receiving yards.

Brock Bowers, Raiders vs. CAR ($5,400 DK, $6,300 FD) Bowers leads all TEs in receptions and receiving yards. Meanwhile, Carolina allowed two TE scores in Week 1. We may see Bowers score his first TD this week.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons vs. KC ($X,XXX DK, $6,200 FD) Pitts averaging 3-23 doesn’t bring joy to his owners’ ears. Still, KC has allowed a far-and-away league-worst average of 12.5-138 to the position.

Sleepers

Pat Freiermuth, Steelers vs. LAC ($4,000 DK, $5,200 FD) Right out of the Arthur Smith playbook, Darnell Washington vultured Freiermuth last week. Still, Freiermuth trails only George Pickens in targets for Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, only three teams have allowed more TE receptions to start the season than the Chargers.

Jonnu Smith, Dolphins @ SEA ($3,400 DK, $5,000 FD) Last week, Smith had seven targets and six catches. Looking back at the four games where Skylar Thompson played significant snaps in 2022, Thompson fed his TEs 6.5 targets per game, 4.5 receptions per game, and 55 yards per game. Besides throwing three TDs to the position.
