Former Georgia offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, who was selected 29th overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2020 NFL Draft, has been arrested Friday night for a DUI.
Wilson was arrested Friday night at 11:29 p.m., booked at 12:44 a.m. on Saturday morning and bonded out of jail at 1:28 a.m. Sources confirmed that Wilson blew a BAC of 0.113 at the time he was pulled over. The legal driving limit in Tennessee is .08.
“We are aware of the situation,” the Titans released in a statement following the news. “This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”
The 6-foot-6, 350 pound Wilson has been placed on the COVID-19/Reserve list for Tennessee twice now. Wilson has been expected to seriously compete for the Titans right tackle position this season.
Tennessee kicks off their season Monday night at the Denver Broncos.
