In a featherweight fight on the main card, Edson Barboza and Bryce Mitchell meet Saturday at UFC 272 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC 272: Barboza vs. Mitchell odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The early prelims can be viewed on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, with the prelims starting at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+ and the main card on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Barboza is looking to bounce back after getting knocked out in the third round last time out against Giga Chikadze in August. While each of Barboza’s past two fights have resulted in knockouts – a win and a loss – three of his past five bouts went the distance.

The Brazilian fighter is just 2-4 across the past six fights, and 3-6 over the previous nine outings.

Mitchell is looking to add to Barboza’s woes. The American – a.k.a. “Thug Nasty” – has picked up unanimous-decision victories in two straight, and decision wins in four of his past five professional outings. However, his last fight was way back in October, 2022 when he went the distance to beat Andre Fili.

UFC 272 Barboza vs. Mitchell: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Barboza (22-10-0) | Mitchell (14-1-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

MITCHELL (-175) is a good play, as he has posted four straight victories since his UFC debut, including three unanimous-decision wins and a submission of Matt Sayles in December, 2019.

Barboza went the distance in three of his past five fights, and Mitchell will put him to the test here, making Barboza work.

Look for MITCHELL BY POINTS (+235) for a chance to more than double up your initial wager.

Over/Under (O/U)

Play YES: FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE (+125), which is a very good value at plus-money.

Mitchell has just one stoppage in four fights since making his UFC debut March 23, 2019 against Bobby Moffett. Barboza also ended up going the distance in three of his past five outings. In fact, playing this fight to go the distance, along with the Colby Covington-Jorge Masvidal and/or the Rafael dos Anjos-Renato Moicano fights, makes for a nice little parlay.

In a catch weight fight on the main card, Rafael dos Anjos and Renato Moicano meet Saturday at UFC 272 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC 272: Dos Anjos vs. Moicano odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The early prelims can be viewed on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, with the prelims starting at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+ and the main card on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET.

The southpaw dos Anjos checks into this one looking to make it two wins in a row after a split-decision victory over Paul Felder last time out in the main event Nov. 14, 2020.

Dos Anjos was supposed to face Rafael Fiziev, who was forced out after a positive COVID-19 test. Moicano took this fight on short notice.

Moicano has won three of his past four fights, each by submission, including a second-round win over Alexander Hernandez Feb. 12 at UFC 271. Moicano is going to have a lot of difficulty against a rested dos Anjos.

UFC 272 dos Anjos vs. Moicano: Odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:16 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): dos Anjos -180 (bet $180 to win $100) | Moicano +140 (bet $100 to win $140)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -105 | No -130)

Exclusive USA TODAY Network offer: Deposit $10 or more, get $200 in instant bet credits at Tipico Sportsbook! New customer offer in CO and NJ. 21+, see Tipico.com for Terms and Conditions. Place your legal, online sports bets at Tipico. Let’s make this interesting. Bet now!

UFC 272 dos Anjos vs. Moicano: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: dos Anjos (30-13) | Moicano (16-4-1)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

DOS ANJOS (-180) is the play here, although he is a tad bit on the expensive side. Still, RDA is well rested, and facing a guy who just fought less than a month ago. A bout against Fiziev, a kickboxing specialist, would have been a much better test. Dos Anjos enters just 2-4 in the past six fights overall, going the distance in five of those outings. He’ll get it done here.

In addition, while Moicano is fighting on short notice, he’ll be able to hold his own here and make RDA work for this win.

Look for DOS ANJOS BY POINTS (+215) for the method of victory.

Over/Under (O/U)

Play YES: FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE (-105) at near even-money. Dos Anjos has just one stoppage in his past seven bouts. Moicano has ended up picking up finishes in seven straight fights, but he won’t have the same kind of energy fighting just a few weeks after his most recent outing. He’ll be looking to slow this fight down, trying to survive.

UFC 272: Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal odds, picks and prediction

In a welterweight fight in the main event, Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal meet Saturday at UFC 272 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC 272: Covington vs. Masvidal odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The early prelims can be viewed on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, with the prelims starting at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+ and the main card on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Covington lost against Kamaru Usman last time out at UFC 268 in a fight for the strap back in November. He’ll be looking to get back on track and into position for another title shot. Two of his past three fights have finished inside the distance, but six of his past eight bouts have ended up going the distance.

Masvidal has lost two straight bouts, both to Usman with his most recent fight at UFC 261 last April 24. Four of Masvidal’s past five bouts have ended inside the distance, with three KO/TKO wins and a second-round knockout loss in the April Usman fight.

Masvidal enters this fight with a 2-inch reach advantage, and a slight lead in significant strikes landed per minute at 4.22-to-4.14. Covington will be looking to get the fight to the mat, where he has a distinct advantage, including a 4.10-to-1.54 takedown average.

UFC 272 Covington vs. Masvidal: Odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 5:52 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Covington -350 (bet $350 to win $100) | Masvidal +255 (bet $100 to win $255)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -145 | No +105)

Bet now!

UFC 272 Covington vs. Masvidal: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Covington (16-3) | Masvidal (35-15)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Covington (-350) is a heavy favorite, costing 3.5 times your potential return. That’s a little too expensive. Instead, get a little more specific for the finish.

The favorite has ended up going the distance in six of his past eight fights. As such, play COVINGTON BY POINTS (-109) on the method of victory at near even-money for a much better value.

Over/Under (O/U)

Play YES: FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE (-145). Covington has involved the judges frequently in his fights. While Masvidal has ended up going the distance in just one of his past five fights, he has ended up going the distance in 11 of his past 17 bouts at the UFC level dating back to Nov. 6, 2013.
