Former Michigan State star guard Tyson Walker was a walking bucket on Friday night.

Walker hit 14 of 17 field goal attempts to record 35 points in his second career game in the NBA G League. He also hit 6 of 8 from three-point range for the Texas Legends.

Walker is in his first season since starring for the Spartans the past three seasons. Hopefully, Walker can continue to have huge performances like this and will work his way onto a NBA roster.

Former Spartans star guard Tyson Walker was selected in the first round of the NBA G League Draft on Saturday

Former Spartans star guard Tyson Walker was selected in the first round of the NBA G League Draft on Saturday.

Walker was selected by the Texas Legends with the No. 7 overall pick in the NBA G League Draft. Walker is in first year out of college after starring for the Spartans for the past three seasons.

Walker transferred to Michigan State in 2021 after two seasons at Northeastern. In his three years at Michigan State, Walker averaged 13.7 points and 3.3 assists per game. Last year as a fifth-year senior, Walker averaged 18.4 points per game and led the Spartans in scoring.

The Texas Legends will start the 2024-25 season next month.
