Here are the recruits set to visit Texas A&M vs. Bowling Green this weekend

Here are the 2025, 2026, and 2027 recruits who will attend Texas A&M vs. Bowling Green

Texas A&M (2-1, 1-0 SEC) is headed back to Kyle Field for the third time this season, as the Aggies will host Bowling Green (1-1), who is coming off a bye week after losing a close game to Penn State 34-27 inside a packed Beaver Stadium.

After defeating Florida 33-20 last Saturday, head coach Mike Elko has a decision to make on Saturday afternoon, as backup quarterback Marcel Reed’s impressive outing against the Gators was only possible due to starting quarterback Conner Weigman’s shoulder injury.

After Wednesday’s practice, Weigman’s shoulder has slowly progressed but will continue to be day-to-day until further notice, vaulting Reed back into the starting conversation every Saturday. Whoever starts against the Falcons will be playing in front of a packed Kyle Field, along with a long list of 2025, 2026, and 2025 recruits, including several commits.

Following 247Sports’ Andrew Hattersley, here are the prospects who will attend the game on Saturday night.

2025 prospects:

  • 2025 4-star cornerback and Texas A&M commit Detjhon Pettaway
  • 2025 4-star cornerback and Texas A&M commit Cobey Sellers
  • 2025 3-star offensive tackle and Texas A&M commit Tyler Thomas
  • 2025 4-star defensive lineman and Texas A&M commit Chace Sims

2026 prospects:

  • 2026 kicker/punter Ethan Guillen
  • 2026 quarterback Garrett Barham
  • 2026 4-star wide receiver Jabari Brady
  • 2026 4-star defensive lineman Tajh Overton
  • 2026 4-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright

2027 prospects:

  • 2027 defensive lineman K’Adrian Redmond.

Texas A&M will host Bowling Green on Saturday, Sept. 21. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

Texas A&M’s second junior day will be chock-full of 2025 talent this weekend

Several high-priority prospects will make their way to College Station this weekend for Texas A&M’s second junior day this year.

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has a new addition after Friday night, as 4-star inside linebacker Kelvion Riggins committed to the program over Georgia and Tennessee.

Heading into the weekend, Riggin’s announcement may spur several key 2025 prospects to make the Aggies a finalist in their respective recruiting lists, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff will host several of said prospects again during the A&M’s second junior day weekend. So, who sticks out the most? Take a gander at this talented list:

The focus seems clear: the Aggies require preparations for multiple departures on the offensive line after next season, while versatile athlete/wide receiver Michael Terry, who Elko offered just days ago, possesses a similar skill set on offense needed for new offensive coordinator Collin Klein’s expansive scheme.

These is just three of the players apart of an expansive visitors list, including a bevy of 2026 prospects. Still, the main message remains Elko’s steadfast dedication to building Texas A&M’s future the right way while maneuvering through the ever-changing landscape regarding NIL and the transfer portal, one area of which Elko has already mastered ahead of the 2024 campaign.

2025 3-Star OL Tyler Thomas has placed Texas A&M in his Top 8 program list

2025 3-star offensive lineman Tyler Thomas has placed Texas A&M in his Top 8 program list.

Under new Texas A&M Football head coach Mike Elko, a focus on recruiting, specifically the remainder of the 2024 and 2025 cycles, remains a focal point for the next two months. After Jimbo Fisher’s firing, Elko has already made several changes to the staff, including the dismissal of O-line coach Steve Adazzio.

Needing to add more talent and size in the offensive trenches, the Aggies fielded an offer to 2025 three-star offensive tackle Tyler Thomas, who is currently listed at 6-4 311 pounds and has already received offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Texas Texas.

On Sunday, Thomas released his Top 8 program list, including almost every program I mentioned, including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Penn State, Houston, Texas, Ole Miss, LSU, and Texas A&M.

Thomas’s interest in A&M isn’t surprising due to their recent recruiting success in the trenches. Still, the lack of development under Adazzio’s coaching was glaring in 2023, meaning that whoever succeeds him will send a clear message to future O-line recruits looking to grow at the position while avoiding the transfer portal.

According to Rivals, Thomas is currently positioned as the 79th-ranked player in Texas and the 35th-ranked offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class.
