Tulsa at Navy: Three things to know
- Tulsa has won five consecutive games since losing 16-7 at then-No. 11 Oklahoma State in its season opener. The Golden Hurricane can secure a spot in the American Athletic Conference championship game with a win Saturday at Navy or a win against No. 7 Cincinnati next week.
- Navy is 5-0 against Tulsa in AAC play. The Midshipmen dominated Tulsa 45-17 last season. USNA and Tulsa were initially scheduled to play in Oklahoma Nov. 7, but the game was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Naval Academy campus. Playing the makeup game in Annapolis allows Navy to recognize its 26-man senior class in one last home game.
- The Middies played just one game in the month of November. Navy lost to Memphis in a 10-7 slugfest last Saturday. The contest marked Navy’s third single-digit offensive output this season. USNA ranks 111th in FBS scoring, at 20.0 points per game.

Tulsa at Navy: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Tulsa 31, Navy 17
Money line (ML)
STEER CLEAR of the extra juice which typically accompanies spreads of this size. PASS.
Against the spread (ATS)
Tulsa has been impressive on the road. The Hurricane have raised their recruiting profile in recent years, and the results are showing between the lines in what has been a real move forward in 2020. Still, looking past Navy toward Cincinnati would be possible … if not for the Middies’ inability to stay in the game offensively.
TAKE TULSA -12.5 (-110).
Over/Under (O/U)
Respecting a well-made number here: PASS.
