For the Baptist Health 200, there will be 34 entries, which means zero drivers will miss the show. Among the notable entries are William Sawalich (TRICON Garage) and Connor Mosack (Spire Motorsports). Also, Frankie Muniz will drive the No. 22 truck for Reaume Brothers Racing. Finally, Corey Day will make another NASCAR start in the No. 91 truck for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing.

The NASCAR Truck Series entered Talladega Superspeedway for the first race in the Round of 8, and one playoff driver earned a spot in the Championship 4. Two weeks ago, Grant Enfinger won the Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega for his first victory of the year. Enfinger entered Talladega as the eighth seed and will now race for a championship at Phoenix Raceway.

NASCAR is set to arrive at Talladega Superspeedway for the 20th weekend of the 2024 Truck Series season. It will be the only date at the venue, as the Truck Series only goes to Talladega once per season. This will be a crucial event as it represents the first Truck Series race in the Round of 8 during the NASCAR playoffs.

First, the Truck Series needs to qualify for the event at Talladega, and the qualifying format is simple. Every driver makes a single-lap run in the first round, which will determine the 10 competitors moving on to the final round. Then, those drivers will fight it out to set the lineup for the top 10 starters. The metric system determines the qualifying order.
