All-American RB Arwin Jackson earns Auburn offer

Auburn has offered one of the top running backs of the 2027 class.

It is never too early to plan, especially regarding recruiting. That is what [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] and his staff are doing by reaching out to one of the top running back options from the 2027 class.

[autotag]Arwin Jackson[/autotag], an All-American running back from Chaminade-Madonna Preparatory School in Hollywood, Florida, announced Thursday that he has picked up an offer from Auburn.

Despite being in the early process of recruiting, Jackson has begun to gain popularity across the country. He rushed for 731 yards on 99 carries this season at Chaminade-Madonna, scoring 10 touchdowns as a freshman. He finished second in rushing behind senior running back Davion Gause, a North Carolina signee.

His amazing season earned him a place on MaxPreps’ second-team freshman All-American squad. Another key member of that team is Thompson High School quarterback and Auburn target, [autotag]Trent Seaborn[/autotag]. Jackson is also a teammate of 2026 Auburn commitment, wide receiver [autotag]Denairius Gray[/autotag].

Due to his age, Jackson has not received a ranking yet from the major recruiting platforms. However, according to On3, Jackson is the sixth running back from the 2027 class that has earned an Auburn offer.

Class of 2027 QB Trent Seaborn speaks on Alabama recruitment, more

Roll Tide Wire goes one-on-one with Thompson QB Trent Seaborn to get his thoughts on the recent offer from Nick Saban and Alabama.

It’s not every day that [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football program dish out an offer to a prospect that hasn’t even started high school yet but that’s exactly what the seven-time national championship coach did this past weekend when the Tide offered class of 2027 quarterback Trent Seaborn of Thompson High School.

Seaborn famously led the state of Alabama’s top program to a state championship in 2022 as an eighth grader and has since been flooded with scholarship offers from all across the country.

With Seaborn officially receiving an offer from coach Saban and Alabama, Roll Tide Wire reached out to get the young gunslinger’s thoughts on the offer and what it means to him.

Below is our exclusive interview with Trent Seaborn!

Trent Seaborn breaks down ‘unexpected’ offer from Auburn

2027 QB Trent Seaborn led Thompson to a championship at the Auburn Elite 7v7, and left campus with a scholarship offer.

[autotag]Trent Seaborn[/autotag] took the state of Alabama, and even the nation, by storm last December as he passed for 207 yards and five touchdowns in Thompson’s 49-27 with over Auburn High School in the AHSAA Class 7A state championship at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

He did all of that in three quarters, as an eighth grader.

Soon after that game, some of the nation’s top programs began showing interest in Seaborn, including Auburn. He paid a visit to campus in January after already earning offers from Arkansas, Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Hawaii.

Last week, he and his high school teammates participated in the Auburn Elite 7v7, where he led Thompson to a championship. Seaborn was complimentary of Thompson’s receivers, who played a big role in leading them to the championship.

“Deuce Oliver is someone I’ve grown really close with on and off the field and he came up huge for us, he is so dynamic,” Seaborn tells Auburn Wire. “Kolby Hearn won so many of his matchups and his speed is something else. Angel Jones came up big with so many contested catches. AJ Green and Mikey Dujon made big plays all tournament, and Colben Landrew was such a weapon, especially close to the goal line. I think he had like 2 or 3 head-top scores.”

Winning a 7v7 championship over several great high school programs is a great accomplishment in itself, but Seaborn got to take home another special item… an offer from Auburn.

Seaborn says that he had no idea that Auburn was going to extend an offer.

“To be honest, I wasn’t expecting an offer at all,” Seaborn said. “I’ve gotten to know Coach (Hugh) Freeze and Coach (Philip) Montgomery over the past few months. We met at school when they visited, and then they had me up for Junior Day after.”

Freeze and Montgomery have worked diligently to build a relationship with Seaborn despite him still being four years away from making a decision regarding his college career. Seaborn says that their efforts mean a lot to him.

“At my age, the relationships I develop with coaches are really more important than actually getting the offer,” Seaborn says. “And I’m grateful to be continuing that process with Auburn’s coaches.”

Seaborn also says that he likes the excitement that Freeze is bringing back to Auburn and that he is looking forward to his next visit.

“I love what they’re doing so far, and there’s a lot of excitement about them getting Auburn back to where it’s been as a program,” Seaborn said. “I really like Coach Montgomery, he’s real easy to talk with, and his faith is important to him just like it is to me. I’m really looking forward to continuing to visit up there again soon.”

Seaborn has paid visits to several places such as Texas, Wisconsin, and Alabama recently, and credits his high school coaches for pushing him to get better every day at practice, as it ultimately leads him to receive interest from so many programs. He also says that he gives glory to God after receiving his “incredible” offer from Auburn.

Talented 2027 quarterback lands Auburn offer

One of the state of Alabama’s youngest QBs has locked down an Auburn offer following a stellar showing at a recent camp.

Last season, an eighth-grader led Thompson High School into Jordan-Hare Stadium with a chance to win the program’s fourth consecutive state championship.

He would do just that, as the Warriors easily defeated Auburn High School, 49-24. Quarterback [autotag]Trent Seaborn[/autotag] would complete 12-of-14 passes for 207 yards and five touchdowns in the win, which is an incredible feat for someone who is not old enough to drive himself to practice. Soon after his incredible game, he was invited by Auburn staff to visit campus.

This week, Seaborn returned to campus with his high school teammates to compete in Auburn’s 7v7 championship. His team would emerge as champions, but he personally left with something just as important, an offer from Auburn.

Despite his age, Thompson head coach Mark Freeman says that he is wise beyond his years on the football field.

“His composure is great on the field,” Freeman said in an interview with AL.com. “He understands at a young age what we are trying to do, and he understands he is not going to be perfect. He can play the next play and not get hung up on the previous one.”

Seaborn already has an impressive offer list going into his 9th-grade season. Joining Auburn in extending an offer to him are Arkansas, Nebraska, Oregon, and North Carolina.

Oregon extends offer to 2027 8th grade phenom QB Trent Seaborn

The Ducks have extended an offer to 2027 QB Trent Seaborn, an 8th grader who won a 7A high school state championship this year in Alabama.

Sometimes when you identify a future star in the making, you have to try and get in early.

That appears to be what the Oregon Ducks are doing after extending a scholarship offer to 2027 QB Trent Seaborn, a current 8th grader from the state of Alabama. Seaborn has been in the news recently after winning the steering QB job on Thompson High School’s Varsity team, and then leading said team to win the 7A State Championship.

Yes, you’re reading that correctly.

At 6-foot, 178 pounds, the 8th grader has picked up a number of offers already, including from Arizona State, Arkansas, Maryland, Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin. He hopes to take a visit to Eugene this summer, per SB Live.

As a 2027 prospect, Seaborn does not yet have much of a recruiting profile, but it will be interesting to see how the hype around him grows as he continues to develop and blossom in his career.

Trent Seaborn’s Recruiting Profile

State Championship-winning quarterback to visit Auburn this weekend

Hugh Freeze and company are getting an early start in their recruiting efforts for this talented quarterback.

Hugh Freeze and company are getting an early start in their recruiting efforts for this talented in-state quarterback.

[autotag]Trent Seaborn[/autotag], best known for leading in-state power Thompson High School to a state championship in 2022 as an eighth-grade quarterback, announced via Twitter that he is set to visit Auburn this weekend.

Seaborn went viral following Thompson’s 49-24 win over Auburn High School for the AHSAA Class 7A title on Nov. 30 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. In the game, he completed 12-of-14 passes for 207 yards and five touchdowns. His performance earned him MVP honors.

Since being put on the map, Seaborn has received offers from such programs as Arkansas, Samford, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Nebraska, and Hawaii among others. He has also taken a visit to Ole Miss since the state championship win.

Since he is a member of the 2027 class, he has yet to receive a ranking by 247Sports, On3, and Rivals. However, he has been called a sharp passer by QB Hit List.

He wastes very little time setting up while delivering darts in all directions. A sharp precision passer who works methodically as he picks apart a defense. Very good mobility within the pocket, able to create added space. He does a nice job seeking out opportunities downfield.
