Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program made a cutdown list in the class of 2022 yesterday.
It’s for three-star shooting guard Connor Essegian, a sharp-shooter from the state of Indiana.

The Badgers are one of two Big Ten teams in Essegian’s top 7, joining the Minnesota Golden Gophers and five other programs.
The shooting guard is 247Sports’ No. 45 shooting guard in the class of 2022 and No. 11 player from his home state of Indiana.
The news is welcome for a program that doesn’t yet have a commit in the class with the recruiting cycle now beginning to heat up.
