Vikings put finishing touches on coaching staff with a slew of hirings

Vikings coaching staff is set with six new hirings

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell has put the finishing touches on his coaching staff with the team confirming six new hires.

Greg Manusky being brought in as the inside linebackers coach was reported last week, but it was made official on Tuesday.

Other names on the list include Tony Sorrentino (assistant wide receivers/quality control), Derron Montgomery (offensive quality control), A’Lique Terry (assistant defensive line), Steve Donatell (defensive quality control) and Ryan Cordell (pass game specialist/game management coordinator.

Steve Donatell is an interesting addition to the staff with his father, Ed Donatell, being named as the team’s new defensive coordinator. So there will be another father and son duo in the coaching room for the Vikings.

Manusky has served as a defensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers. So he’ll bring in a lot of experience in helping the Vikings improve their struggling defense.

Here is the list of Vikings coaches in its entirety.
