First look: Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts Week 4 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Tennessee Titans (1-2) travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to battle the division rival Indianapolis Colts (1-1-1) Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Titans vs. Colts odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The Titans and the Colts come into this game after winning their first games of the season in Week 3. While Tennessee thoroughly outplayed the Las Vegas Raiders, the Colts had a lot of luck to win their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Colts QB Matt Ryan still does not look comfortable in the offense and the defense, with LB Shaquille Leonard being hurt, has not played well to this point.

This will be a game of running the ball. With possibly the two best RB in the league in Tennessee’s Derrick Henry and Indianapolis’ Johnathan Taylor, this will be a game with few drives to speak of.  Both teams will want to play this game in the low 20s and this is what will happen as both teams try to find their footing in 2022.

Titans vs. Colts head-to-head

In recent times, the Titans have been far better against the Colts than Colts fans would like. Tennessee is 3-1 against the Colts over the last 2 years, much of which has been due to the dominance of Henry. The last victory for the Colts came Nov. 12, 2020, in which they pulled out a 34-17 victory.

The Over has also been a solid play over the past 2 seasons. Three of the 4 games along that span have gone Over. All 3 of those games eclipsed 50 points and 2 of them hit 60.

Another surprising stat in this rivalry is that the point spread does not usually make a difference.

Only one game in the last 2 seasons has finished with a margin of fewer than 9 points, when the Titans picked up a 3-point victory on Halloween last year.
