With more metanarrative layers than a Chris Nolan treatment for the Jumani reboots, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands takes place in a D&D game some Borderlands characters are playing… inside a game.
All the familiar tenets are here, but they’re given a fantasy sheen and a fourth-wall nudge, and that makes for a surprisingly fresh and engaging co-op shooter.
