The Oklahoma City Thunder (46-20) and Memphis Grizzlies (23-44) meet Saturday. Tip-off from FedExForum is set for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Thunder vs. Grizzlies odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Thunder lead 2-0

The Thunder are coming off a 126-119 win vs. the Dallas Mavericks Thursday with the Over (233.5) cashing in Oklahoma City. G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points for the Thunder, who failed to cover as 9.5-point favorites.

The Grizzlies, who were 2.5-point home underdogs, lost 110-98 against the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday as the Over (203) hit. Memphis is 1-3 straight up and against the spread (ATS) in its last 4 games.

Oklahoma City is 2-0 ATS vs. Memphis this season, and the Under has also gone 2-0. The Thunder won 124-93 in Oklahoma City in the most recent meeting Sunday.

Thunder at Grizzlies picks and predictions

Prediction

Thunder 115, Grizzlies 95

Moneyline

The Thunder (-500) are too expensive to take straight up. Bet into 1 of the less-juiced markets that are -110 on both sides.

PASS.

Against the spread

Oklahoma City is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings against Memphis, covering the spread by an average margin of 13.6 points per game over that span.

The Grizzlies are far too injured to keep pace with the 2nd-ranked team in offensive efficiency in the Thunder; they were on the verge of getting 20’d by the shorthanded Hornets last time out.

BET THUNDER -10.5 (-110).

Over/Under

Overs were cashing at an impressive rate for the Thunder from Feb. 2-23 (7-0 O/U), but the market has adjusted, and Unders have now gone 5-2 in Oklahoma City’s last 7 games.

The Thunder held up their end of the bargain in Sunday’s meeting, scoring 124 points, but it was the Grizzlies who helped the Under cash with a disappointing 93-point performance. I expect more of the same Saturday.

BET UNDER 219 (-110).

Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (7-8) visit the FedEx Forum on Friday to take on the Memphis Grizzlies (9-6). Tip is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Thunder vs. Grizzlies odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Thunder are coming into this game after taking down the Washington Wizards 121-120 on Wednesday, covering as 5-point underdogs. They have covered 4 straight games with their Over hitting in their last 5.

Oklahoma City is led by G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is playing at an MVP level. SGA is averaging 32.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game.

The Grizzlies have far higher expectations this season and are led by their own potential future MVP, G Ja Morant. He is averaging 29.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game.

Memphis is just 5-10 against the spread (ATS) this season despite a 9-6 record. The Grizzlies are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games.

Thunder at Grizzlies picks and predictions

Prediction

Grizzlies 118, Thunder 110

Moneyline

PASS.

I like Memphis to win at home, but I wouldn’t back them on the moneyline at -240.

Against the spread

LEAN GRIZZLIES -6.5 (-105).

Memphis is easing F Jaren Jackson Jr. back into the lineup, and he should play a large role in limiting what SGA can do around the rim.

The Grizzlies should also be able to abuse the Thunder on the glass as Memphis sits 1st in offensive rebounding rate and Oklahoma City ranks 23rd in defensive rebounding.

The Grizzlies rank 20th in defensive rating, but with JJJ back and F Dillon Brooks in the lineup, that should improve. Considering the circumstances and OKC’s play, this becomes a much more favorable line for the Grizzlies.

I would lean Grizzlies -6.5 (-105) here with the extra opportunities and impactful return of JJJ.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 230.5 (-105).

Memphis has gone Under its projected total in 3 straight games and in 5 of its last 6. Its defense should improve with JJJ as he averaged 2.3 blocks per game a season ago.

Neither team is an elite shooting team with the Thunder and Grizzlies back to back at No. 20 and 21 in effective field goal rate.

While the Thunder rank 3rd in pace, Memphis sits 19th. At home, this should be more the Grizzlies’ style of play. Without G Desmond Bane either, I would expect their offense to take a hit.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (6-15) travel to FedExForum Thursday to take on the Memphis Grizzlies (11-10). Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Thunder vs. Grizzlies odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Thunder are coming off a disappointing 114-110 loss Wednesday against the Houston Rockets in which they failed to cover as 2.5-point home favorites.

OKC is led by G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and has been a covering machine this season, 13-8 against the spread (ATS).

The Grizzlies have had similar success with a 12-9 ATS record. However, their leader G Ja Morant is out. The Grizzlies have picked up consecutive wins and enter Thursday as heavy home favorites despite his absence.

Thunder at Grizzlies odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Grizzlies 107, Thunder 103

Money line

PASS on the money line. If there is a playable side, it’s OKC at +300.

The Grizzlies’ best player is out so OKC will have the best player on the court. That’s note-worthy but it still likely won’t result in a road victory for a six-win team.

Against the spread

BET on the THUNDER +8.5 (-102) as Memphis is worse than their record indicates.

The Grizzlies are over .500 yet have a minus-4.9 net rating. Defensively, they’ve been atrocious. They are amongst the worst teams in the league with 114.4 points allowed per game.

The Grizzlies offensive firepower also takes a hit with Morant not on the court. The Thunder will have the best player on the court with SGA averaging 21.2 points per game — he put up 39 on the Rockets in Wednesday’s contest.

Guarding him is going to be a nightmare for Memphis. For those two reasons, I’m siding with the Thunder to cover here. The spread is just too much for a team missing its best player.

Over/Under

BET on the UNDER 212.5 (-112) as both teams rank outside the top ten in pace.

Furthermore and more importantly, the Thunder can rebound. OKC ranks fourth in defensive rebounding and that will be a huge plus for them against a Grizzlies team that attacks the offensive glass at the second-highest rate.

With OKC bottom of the league in true shooting percentage at 50.6%, they rely on their defensive play to stay in games. Their defense and rebounding should allow them to do just that.

Couple it with poor playmaking for Memphis and a weak defense, and the Under should be the better side of the total.
