Floyd Mayweather’s NASCAR team gives update on plans for 2024 Daytona 500

Floyd Mayweather’s NASCAR team gives a big update on plans for the 2024 Daytona 500. Will Mayweather’s team be in The Great American Race?

[autotag]The Money Team Racing[/autotag] has only made six starts in the NASCAR Cup Series since the beginning of the 2022 season, but they are a notable group. The organization is led by Becky Auchmoody and her husband, Willy Auchmoody; however, [autotag]Floyd Mayweather Jr.[/autotag] is a major co-owner. Will Mayweather’s team race in the 2024 Daytona 500? There is now a firm answer.

According to Willy Auchmoody through TobyChristie.com, The Money Team Racing will not enter the 2024 Daytona 500 and look to begin its season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 3. Nothing else has been publicly announced regarding the driver, schedule, sponsor, or paint scheme for the 2024 NASCAR season.

Over the last two years, The Money Team Racing had Kaz Grala and Conor Daly as its drivers. Daly could be in line for some more starts in 2024, but Grala has 25 Cup Series races with Rick Ware Racing and one with Front Row Motorsports. It will be interesting to see which drivers Mayweather’s team can sign for 2024 and possibly beyond.
