Clemson football will wear its iconic purple uniforms vs. The Citadel

Take a look at this year’s purple uniform combination that Clemson will wear for Saturday’s game against The Citadel.

Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers are set to wear their classic purple jerseys for this week’s game against The Citadel, the team announced on its social media platforms on Monday.

Clemson will wear purple jerseys over purple pants for Saturday’s game. Kickoff for Clemson vs. The Citadel is set for 3:30 p.m. ET in Death Valley. The game will be televised on The CW.

Clemson celebrates Military Appreciation Day every year by wearing its purple uniforms in reverence to the Purple Heart award. The Tigers wore their purple uniforms in last year’s 42-21 victory over Georgia Tech on Nov. 11.

In previous years, Clemson wore the purple jerseys against Louisville in 2022, against UConn in 2021, and against Pitt in 2020.

Clemson is ranked No. 16 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll following their 24-20 victory over Pitt on Saturday.

Clemson football vs. The Citadel: Kickoff time, TV info announced for Nov. 23 game

Kickoff time for Clemson vs. The Citadel has been announced. Here’s what time the Tigers and Bulldogs will meet in Week 13, and what channel the game will be on.

The ACC on Monday announced kickoff times and TV/broadcast information for its Week 13 games, including the Clemson Tigers’ Nov. 23 game against The Citadel in Death Valley.

The Tigers (7-2) and Bulldogs (4-6) will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Senior Day at Clemson Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on The CW.

It will mark Clemson’s first appearance of 2024 on the CW network. It’s the second time this season that Cade Klubnik and the Tigers will appear in the mid-afternoon 3:30 p.m. window.

Clemson beat Virginia Tech last Saturday, 24-14, in Blacksburg behind three second-half touchdowns from Klubnik and a stingy Tigers defense that held Virginia Tech to 228 yards of offense.

The Citadel is coming off a 31-7 home loss to Chattanooga last Saturday. The Bulldogs are 2-5 in league play as a member of the Southern Conference.

Clemson and The Citadel last met in September 2020, a 49-0 Tigers shutout victory in Death Valley. Clemson leads the all-time series against the Citadel, 33-5-1.

Dabo Swinney is 3-0 against the Bulldogs as Clemson’s head coach.

After a long wait, we finally have a complete look at the Clemson football team’s 2024 schedule.

While we have known who the Tigers will be facing for some time, we now have the date and week for each game. Times are yet to be determined, as many factors go into the time choices for each game. Even so, we know what week each game will take place, so Clemson fans can now plan accordingly.

With the release of the schedule, we put together a week-by-week schedule of our own for you to see who Clemson will face each week and where it will be. Take a look at Clemson’s complete 2024 schedule below.
