Bell Ringer Pod: It might be time for Sixers to fix things with Ben Simmons

The Bell Ringer Podcast discusses if it is time for the Philadelphia 76ers to fix things with Ben Simmons to get him back on the floor.

The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a 16-15 start to the 2021-22 season ad they have dealt with a lot of adversity that they have been hit with. The Sixers have been dealing with the Ben Simmons saga and it might be time to put it to an end.

“The Bell Ringer” podcast hosted by Sixers Wire editor Ky Carlin welcomes Nick Friar of DraftKings to discuss whether it is time for the Sixers to just mend the fences with Simmons and bring him back. Philadelphia has maintained that they want a top 25 player in return for Simmons, but at this point, the Sixers might have to just swallow their pride and bring him back.

The Sixers are in need of his elite play on both ends and it might be time to just get over all of that and bring him back. Let bygones be bygones and move forward as a unit.

Bell Ringer Pod: Sixers should focus on Tyrese Maxey, not Ben Simmons

The Bell Ringer Podcast returns to discuss why the Philadelphia 76ers should be focused more on Tyrese Maxey rather than Ben Simmons.

The Philadelphia 76ers are at the beginning of a 6-game road trip that will take them to the West coast starting on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz and that means it’s time for another edition of “The Bell Ringer” podcast hosted by Sixers Wire.

Hosted by Sixers Wire editor Ky Carlin, “The Bell Ringer” will tackle one interesting question: should the Sixers cater to Ben Simmons or Tyrese Maxey? The Sixers have long maintained that they want Simmons back out on the floor for the team, but with the way Maxey is playing, why would they? Austin Krell of The Painted Lines joins Ky to discuss this as well as the play of guys like Andre Drummond and Georges Niang and whether Seth Curry can keep up his current efficient shooting at the moment.

Bell Ringer Podcast: What can we take from 3 Sixers vs. Nets games?

The Bell Ringer Podcast returns to discuss what can be learned from the season series between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets.

The Bell Ringer Podcast returns on Thursday to discuss everything surrounding the Philadelphia 76ers. Host and site editor Ky Carlin welcomes Draft Kings writer and former Nets Wire editor Nick Friar on with him to discuss what everybody can take from the three matchups with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Sixers were able to knock off the Nets on Wednesday 123-117 thanks to another big night from Joel Embiid, but it seems that there are more questions than answers. The Nets seemed to not bother too much with Ben Simmons on the offensive end as they completely sagged off of him in order to defend Embiid and it makes sense as to why they would do that. How will that affect a potential series in the playoffs?

Other topics discussed include the struggles of Seth Curry, the questions of who defends Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving in the playoffs, as well as the importance of the No. 1 seed to the Sixers, compared to the Nets.
