The Rangers +1.5 (-200) will cost 2 times your potential return if you want a little insurance, but don’t trust Texas straight up. That is just too much risk for not nearly enough reward.

The UNDER 7.5 (-110) is worth a look in what is a de facto playoff game.

Run line/Against the spread

The MARINERS -1.5 (+120) failed to win or cover in Monday’s series opener, but they’re still 6-2 across the past 8 games and have covered the run line in 5 of those outings. If you like the M’s to win, you should like them to cover the run line, too.

The OVER 7.5 (-115) is a decent play, as these teams should see a little more offense than the series opener.
