Steve Sarkisian and his Texas staff have put together an elite recruiting class in back-to-back seasons.
The Longhorns signed 23 prospects during the early signing period, currently ranking No. 3 in the country for the 2023 cycle. Texas finished with the No. 5 ranked class last year.
Texas landed four five-star players for the first time since 2010. The most significant slash being the No. 1 overall prospect Arch Manning. Manning’s late Summer commitment sparked a strong wave of recruiting momentum, building the foundation of the class.
A solid finish for the class included to big-time recruiting wins over rival programs. Texas landed five-star linebacker Anthony Hill over Texas A&M and four-star EDGE Tausili Akana over the final week.
Texas is building a strong foundation on the recruiting trail, setting up a bright future in Austin.
