The No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies (4-2) and the No. 19 Creighton Bluejays (4-2) meet Wednesday in the Players Era Festival. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET (Max) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college basketball odds around the Texas A&M vs. Creighton odds, and make our expert college basketball picks and predictions.

The Aggies are coming off a stunning 80-70 loss in the “Power Group” bracket in this fledgling tournament. Texas A&M obviously failed to cover as a 3.5-point favorite, as it is 0-2 against the spread (ATS) after a 3-0 ATS run from Nov. 8-15. The Over (147) cashed in Tuesday’s game against the Ducks, too.

For the Bluejays, they’ve dropped the past 2 games, including a 71-53 drubbing from San Diego State Tuesday in the Power Group. That loss comes on the heels of a stunning 74-63 loss against Nebraska at home as a 10-point favorite. Creighton is just 1-5 ATS this season, while the Under has cashed in 5 straight outings.

Texas A&M vs. Creighton picks and predictions

Prediction

Texas A&M 73, Creighton 61

Moneyline

If you’re a conservative bettor, back TEXAS A&M (-165) straight up, especially if you don’t feel like fiddling around with the points in this tournament game in Vegas.

It’s a little too expensive for my liking, but no one can play you if you’re not comfortable laying the points, especially if you want to toss the Aggies into multi-leg parlay.

Against the spread

Play TEXAS A&M -3.5 (-110) to get the job done by at least 2 buckets.

The Aggies showed some serious holes against Oregon in the tournament opener, but Creighton +3.5 (-110) is even chillier on offense, recording back-to-back games by double digits against Nebraska and San Diego State. And, the Bluejays are a dismal 1-5 ATS in the 6 games this season.

Over/Under

UNDER 143.5 (-105) is a solid play in this rebound game for both teams. Both sides could get off to a cold start as they look to avoid an 0-2 hole in this showcase in Vegas.

The Under has cashed in 5 in a row for Creighton, so that’s a huge driving factor in this play, too. The Bluejays haven’t been able to hit the broad side of the barn in the past 2 losses, averaging just 58.0 PPG.

For A&M, the Under has hit in 4 of the 6 games, including 2-1 in 3 games against power conference opponents.
