Texas A&M offers 2024 4-Star DL Kellen Lindstrom

In preparation for a huge recruiting push this spring, Texas A&M has offered 2024 4-star Defensive lineman Kellen Lindstrom

Texas A&M has been sending offers out left and right to some of the most talented prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle, as Head coach Jimbo Fisher, knows that in order to secure the best players, aggressive recruiting tactics are the best strategy moving forward.

On Saturday, Texas A&M Assistant Head coach/Defensive line coach Elijah Robinson must have provided his input after the Aggies offered 2024 4-star Defensive lineman Kellen Lindstrom out of Springfield, Missouri, joining fellow SEC programs such as Alabama, Arkansas, and Auburn to offer the future star.

Lindstrom, who stands at 6-5, and 240 lbs, is currently ranked as the 24th-ranked D-lineman in the class, and 7th ranked player in the state of Missouri. During his 2022 junior season at Glendale High School, Lindstrom recorded 73 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble returned for a touchdown, all while posting 90 tackles during his previous sophomore season.

Lindstrom’s productivity on the field is enticing, to say the least, and with the Aggies’ continued hot streak in landing some of the top D-line prospects in the past three recruiting classes, I’ll throw out a guess and say that Kellen Lindstrom might be just a little intrigued.

2024 4-Star OL Daniel Cruz will visit Texas A&M this Spring

It was reported this week that 2024 4-Star OL Daniel Cruz will visit Texas A&M later this Spring.

It feels like football season is closer than ever as news has begun to ramp up this week regarding some of the upcoming recruiting visits for some of the top prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle, as Texas A&M and Head coach Jimbo Fisher prepare for the start of spring practices on Monday, March 20th.

In the Aggies 2023 recruiting class, Fisher signed two of the top offensive lineman in the class, including 4-star Chase Bisontis (No.1 ranked IOL) and 4-star TJ Shanahan (8th-ranked IOL), setting themselves up for the future in the trenches. 2024 4-Star OL Daniel Cruz, one of the top interior offensive linemen in the class, is reportedly set to visit Texas A&M sometime this spring, most likely after the conclusion of the Maroon and White Spring game on Saturday, April 15th.

Standing at 6-3.5 and 295lbs, Cruz is currently ranked as the 23rd IOL, and 59th ranked player in Texas and has received offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and over 20 other programs, due to his rising skillset as one of the more athletic guard prospects in the country. Cruz has been a starting guard for Richland High School since his 2020 freshman season while being named Texas District 4-5A D-I first-team selection after his 2021 sophomore season.

The Aggies have been one of the premier programs for guard development over the past decade, producing numerous NFL prospects over the said period, it’s no wonder Daniel Cruz is at least interested in seeing what Texas A&M has to offer during his recruiting journey.

Texas A&M offers 2024 3-Star WR Ernest Campbell

Texas A&M officially offered the rising 2024 3-Star Wide receiver Ernest Campbell on Thursday, March 16th

When Aggies Head coach Jimbo Fisher imagines what his offense could look like under new offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino, speed, speed, and more speed at the wide receiver position comes to mind before anything else. In the past three recruiting cycles, Texas A&M has landed their 2023 starting wide receiver unit including 2022 5-Star Evan Stewart, 4-Star Moose Muhammad III, and of course, Ainias Smith, who will be returning for his final senior season.

Looking towards the future, the 2024 recruiting cycle offers some very intriguing options at the position, especially 3-Star wide receiver Ernest Campbell out of Refugio, Texas, one of the fastest athletes in the class while standing at only 5-8 and 150 lbs. Ranked as the 70th wide receiver and 82nd player in Texas, Campbell is lightning in a bottle, pure and simple, which is why the Aggies finally offered him on Thursday, March 16th. As a track athlete, Campbell won the Texas Class 2A 100M state title with a time of 10.32 seconds, while also leading Refugio to win the 4×100 and 4×200 titles in May of 2022.

Receiving over 20 Division 1 offers so far, Campbell is an ascending recruit, fitting the mold of what Jimbo Fisher looks for in a slot wide receiver in the SEC, resembling former Aggies wide receiver Yulkeith Brown, who recently transferred to Tulane. With a potential visit to College Station in the coming months, Hopefully, communications increase between the Aggies and Campbell in the Spring/Summer.

2024 4-Star CB Selman Bridges plans to visit Texas A&M this Spring

It was reported that 2024 4-Star CB Selman Bridges is planning to visit Texas A&M later this spring

With the Maroon and White Spring game just around the corner, all eyes will be on the current Texas A&M Football roster ahead of the pivotal 2023 season but don’t think the 2024 recruiting cycle isn’t on the mind of Head coach Jimbo Fisher as visits begin to ramp up this spring.

The Aggies 2024 recruiting class is currently ranked 19th in the country with four total signees, including 4-Star OT Ashton Funk, 4-Star DL Dealyn Evans, 4-Star WR Debron Gatling, and 3-Star QB Anthony Maddox, already replicating their underrated 2023 class with the “quality over quantity” approach.

Earlier this week, it was announced that 4-Star CB Selman Bridges, one of Texas A&M’s primary recruiting targets, is set to visit the Aggies for a second time this spring, as the Temple, Texas native will embark on his final season Lake Belton High School, just a year removed from his 2022 season where he recorded 42 tackles, 6 PBUs, and 2 interceptions. Standing at 6-3, 170 lbs, Bridges has the makings of a lock-down boundary corner at the next level.

Bridges took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M on Jan. 28th, obviously developing enough of a liking to the program to garner a second visit. Either way, the Aggies are set up for one heck of a recruiting rush going into the next four months.

2024 4-Star EDGE Loghan Thomas places Texas A&M inside his Top 10

Talented 2024 EDGE Loghan Thomas has narrowed down his options, officially placing the Aggies among his Top 10 programs

When Texas and Oklahoma finally make the move to the SEC ahead of the 2024 college football season, recruiting in talent-rich Texas is going be even tougher from a competition standpoint, as Texas A&M Head coach Jimbo Fisher will need to rely on his past recruiting success while producing results on the field in order to land some of the top prospects for the 2024 cycle.

This week, 2024 4-Star EDGE Loghan Thomas announced his official Top 10 school list heading into the final stages of his recruiting journey, as the Katy, Texas native placed Texas A&M among nine other programs, including Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Arizona, USC, Notre Dame, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Colorado.

Coincidentally, Thomas attends Paetow High School, a program the Aggies are very fond of after landing 5-Star DT D.J Hicks, and 4-Star EDGE Daymion Sanford. Thomas, who stands at 6-3, and 210 lbs, is a highly versatile defensive prospect with the ability to play off the edge or drop back in coverage, displaying a high motor and consistent ability to get off blocks, oozing potential at the Division 1 level.

Thomas is currently ranked as the 16th EGDE prospect and 34th player in Texas for the 2024 recruiting class.

4-Star QB David Belfort is one of Texas A&M’s primary 2024 recruiting targets, and he recently announced his commitment date

Texas A&M and Head coach Jimbo Fisher received some great news on Wednesday night, as 2024 4-Star Quarterback David Belfort out of Miami, Florida has finally announced his commitment date, slated for Wednesday, March 22nd, as the incoming senior is down to three programs made up of Virginia Tech, Michigan State, and of course, Texas A&M.

Texas A&M has gained an upcoming visit from highly touted 2024 5-Star Edge Collin Simmons, set to head to College Station on April 1st

Things are starting to heat up on the recruiting trail for Texas A&M, as the 2024 recruiting class is all that matters outside of well, you know, preparing for the all-important 2023 football season. With summer just a mere three months away, recruiting visits are still on the periphery of becoming a “make or break” for signing future players, but when ultra-talented prospects announce their intention to visit campus on any given weekend, first impressions could go a very long way.

on Tuesday, it was announced that 2024 5-Star EDGE Colin Simmons, who has been on Texas A&M’s radar for quite some time now, the Duncanville, Texas native is currently ranked as the 3rd overall player in the class, 1st in the state, and 1st at the EDGE postion, according to Rivals.

According to one analyst, 2024 5-Star David Stone is predicted to land with Texas A&M

One insider believes that the Aggies have a good shot at landing the top defensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class

2024 5-Star defensive tackle David Stone Jr. is a future game wrecker at the collegiate level and after his surprise visit to Texas A&M last weekend, Stone apparently “loved” his time in Aggie land, and one Aggie insider believes that the big game could be making his way to College Station, Texas as a member of the 2024 recruiting class for the Maroon and White.

Every FBS program loves to boast that they’re the “Position U” based on historic recruiting success at one spot, and for the Aggies, their recent track record of signing some of the top defensive line prospects in the country has forced a number of programs to take notice, especially after signing 5-Star defensive tackle David Hicks Jr. during the 2023 cycle, who will compete for snaps in his first season with the program.

On Wednesday night, AggieYell.com/Rivals insider Landyn Rosow officially submitted his prediction that the Aggies will land David Stone, as the rumors are heating up after many felt that Oklahoma had all but sealed the deal before Stone’s unofficial visit to the Aggies. Still early in the process, an official visit is most likely in the works, with the hope that Jimbo Fisher’s recruiting track record works its magic during the final stretch.

2024 4-Star Quarterback Air Noland receives Crystal ball to land with Texas A&M

In one early, yet trustworthy predicion, 4-Star Quarterback Air Noland is predicted to land with Texas A&M

Ever since the emergence of quarterback Conner Weigman during the latter half of the 2022 season, Head coach Jimbo Fisher has finally found an answer at the position from his recruiting class, but we’ll never forget to give credit to Kellen Mond’s productive four-year career with the Aggies, though he was a member of former Head coach Kevin Sumlin’s 2017 recruiting class.

To further build towards the future at the signal caller spot, Fisher has done a solid job so far, securing commitments from 2023 4-Star Quarterback Marcel Reed, and 2024 3-Star Quarterback Anthony Maddox, both possessing unlimited potential.

However, one special QB prospect in the 2024 class remains in flux, as Fairburn, Georgia native Air Noland recently “unofficially” visited Texas A&M on Jan. 21st, the talented duel-threat just received an official “Crystal ball” from Texas A&M insider, and Aggieyell.com writer Landyn Rosow, predicting that Noland will land with the Aggies in due time.

At this time, it may come down to a recruiting battle with the Auburn Tigers, but with spring football and the summer recruiting rush coming sooner than later, Air Noland’s recruiting journey is far from complete, but hopefully ends in the Aggie’s favor.

2024 4-Star Athlete Jason Mitchell II is visiting Texas A&M this weekend

2024 4-Star Athlete Jason Mitchell II is in the midst of his visit to Texas A&M this weekend

Head coach Jimbo Fisher has had quite the recruiting weekend so far, as 2024 5-star defensive tackle David Stone Jr. arrived on Friday, it was revealed early Saturday from On3’s Chad Simmons that 2024 4-Star Athlete Jason Mitchell II is also in the midst of a weekend visit to College Station, Texas.

Mitchell is going into his senior year at St. John Bosco Prep in Bellflower, California, and is currently rated as the 23rd-best prospect in the state of California, and the 34th-ranked Athlete in the country according to 247Sports.

Currently, “Crytalballed” to end up as USC, just like David Stone, don’t let every early-stage recruiting prediction lead you to believe that it’s all said and done because Aggie’s defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin relies heavily on his defensive back unit in every level of the defense, and as a projected safety at the college level, Mitchell couldn’t ask for a better landing spot in terms of development.

Standing at 6-3.5, and 185 lbs, Mitchell also runs track, 200 and 400-meter dash, as well as the high jump and long jump. Mitchell is the son of the former USC (strong ties to the program) wide receiver, Jason Mitchell.
