NFL Week 4: Let’s make some money parlay
Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 11:08 a.m. ET. All games Sunday and ET unless noted.
Leg 1: Titan at Colts Over 42.5 (-115) – 1 p.m.
The Titans and Colts rarely play games close. They also rarely play games which go under the posted total. This total is extremely low for this matchup.
Although the Titans are only 1-2 O/U and the Colts 0-3 O/U, these teams are familiar with each other. If 1 of these teams begins to score, the other will keep up.
Tennessee got off to a hot start last Sunday. They had 3 drives of more than 75 yards to open the game against the Las Vegas Raiders. They have the capability to do this again. With WR Michael Pittman Jr. and RB Jonathan Taylor, the Colts also have the horses to go down the field quickly.
You might be sweating this one for a bit. But it will go over and be the 1st leg of a winning parlay.

Leg 2: Jaguars at Eagles Over 47.5 (-112) – 1 p.m.
The Eagles look unstoppable early in the 2022 season.
QB Jalen Hurts is playing at an MVP level and WR DeVonta Smith had a coming out party last Sunday with 169 receiving yards and 1 TD. He joins WR A.J. Brown as dangerous weapons in the passing game, something the Eagles were searching for last season when they led the NFL in rushes over the final 8 games of the season.
The Eagles have not forgotten about the run game though. Hurts has shown his quickness and elusiveness to gain yards and 4 Eagles players have rushed for a TD this season. With an offensive line rated the best in the NFL this far, offense will not be an issue against the Jaguars.
The Jaguars come in after a complete demolition of the Los Angeles Chargers with WR Christian Kirk and RB James Robinson sparking the Jaguars offense. The victory by Jacksonville was their 1st road win since December of 2019 when they were beat the then-Oakland Raiders in their final home game. It was also the 1st time since 2001 that the Jaguars have won back-to-back games by at least 20 points.
Coming across country, for another road game will be tough. But it will be tougher on the defense than the offense which is humming right now. I expect a close matchup here. But a high scoring matchup.

Leg 3: Cardinals ML (+105) at Panthers – 4:05 p.m.
The Panthers are getting a lot of credit for beating a bad Saints team last week. A Saints team that lost the game due to fumbles and injuries to key WR contributors Michael Thomas and Chris Olave as well as QB Jameis Winston dealing with a bad back, ribs and leg. For the Cardinals, Kyler Murray has none of those worries. Although Arizona is coming across the country for an early start, they are still the better team.
Christian McCaffrey was finally given free reign Sunday. He finished the game with 108 yards on 25 carries for Carolina. Coming off his recent bouts of injury, the Panthers may want to limit his usage this week. This could be devastating for a Panthers team which is looking to finally turn the corner under coach Matt Rhule. I do not think it happens.
I was surprised to see Arizona as the underdog in this game. I will trust them to prove me right and win the game.
With Murray alone, the talent is there for the Cardinals to pull of this upset.
Parlay payout: Bet $10 to win $71.10 (profit $61.10).

Leg 4-*: Packers -10.5 (-108) vs. Patriots – 4:25 p.m.
*-If you want to add a 4th play to this parlay:
Aaron Rodgers finally found a dependable receiver in Romeo Doubs. Add this to his RB duo of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon and the offense for Green Bay is taking shape. Against a weakened New England team, Rodgers will have no problem moving up and down Lambeau Field.
The defense for Green Bay, behind DL Rashan Gary and CB Jaire Alexander, will clamp down on the Patriots and squeeze the life out of them.
QB Mac Jones will miss this game with a severe high ankle sprain. Whether it be veteran Brian Hoyer or rookie Bailey Zappe, the offense will not be able to move down the field.
The Patriots put up 27 against a Ravens team missing 4 cornerbacks in their secondary. The Packers are not missing those players and they will be able to get the Patriots off the field because of it.
I expect the Packers to romp. The only reason it is not in my top 3 is due to the high spread. But as a 4th play, I would do it.
Parlay payout: Bet $10 to win $136.80 (profit $126.80).
