TCU at Kansas State odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s TCU Horned Frogs at Kansas State Wildcats odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The TCU Horned Frogs (3-4, 1-3 Big 12) and Kansas State Wildcats (4-3, 1-3) meet Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the TCU vs. Kansas State odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Horned Frogs are looking to snap a two-game slid. TCU is also 1-4 SU across its past five outings while going 1-5-1 ATS overall this season. The lone cover came in a 52-31 win at Texas Tech Oct. 9 as 2.5-point favorites.

K-State won at Texas Tech last time out Saturday, winning 25-24 to push as one-point faves. That victory snapped a three-game skid against Big 12 behemoths Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

TCU at Kansas State odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Kansas State 29, TCU 23

Money line

KANSAS STATE (-180) is a fine play at home on the money line, especially if you want to avoid bothering with laying the three and a hook. The Wildcats aren’t anything special on offense, but their strong defense should be able to hold the Red Raiders at bay.

Against the spread

KANSAS STATE -3.5 (-112) is the lean, although I’d only make a small-unit play here.

TCU +3.5 (-108) has cashed in just one of the past five as an underdog while going 2-6 ATS in the previous eight as a road ‘dog. In addition, TCU has covered just one of the past six meetings with K-State.

Over/Under

UNDER 58.5 (-108) is the play here, especially if you’re a trend player. The Under has hit in five straight meetings in this series. That’s not the only reason, however.

The Wildcats are very mediocre on offense, posting just 360.1 total yards per game to rank 94th in the nation, and they have posted just 27.0 PPG to rank 77th overall.
