Per usual, the Cleveland Browns have released their inactives list an hour and a half from game time. As they prepare to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Jacoby Brissett’s last start at quarterback in 2022, the Browns have announced six players as inactive including defensive tackle Tommy Togiai and defensive end Chase Winovich.

With Perrion Winfrey returning from a concussion suffered from a scooter accident, Togiai becomes the odd man out as he continues to look like one of the worst defensive tackles in the league. Isaiah Thomas is back in the rotation for Winovich this week. The other inactives include quarterback Kellen Mond, wide receiver Michael Woods II, hybrid player Demetric Felton, and cornerback Greg Newsome II as he battles through the concussion protocol.

What uniforms will the Browns be wearing vs. Buccaneers on Sunday?

As the Browns get set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, what uniforms will they be wearing?

As the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers get set for battle, we turn our attention to a different matchup: the uniform matchup. What uniforms will the Browns be wearing for Jacoby Brissett’s last start of the 2022 season?

For this matchup against his former teammate and mentor Tom Brady, Brissett and company will be wearing the all brown color rush uniforms at home. This means the Buccaneers will wear white jerseys, but the pants they will be wearing are unknown. They have worn their color rush uniforms one other time in 2022 in their Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Can they turn the tide in this one and get a win for Brissett before the return of Deshaun Watson next week?

Jacoby Brissett was ‘annoying as hell’ following Tom Brady around with Patriots

Jacoby Brissett recalls following around Tom Brady as he was trying to learn how to be a pro with the Patriots.

The Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting set for battle in Northeast Ohio this weekend. As quarterback Jacoby Brissett gets set to take on his former teammate in Tom Brady this weekend, he recalls their time together early in his career with the New England Patriots.

He described himself as “that kid that was annoying as hell” as he looked to learn how to be a professional quarterback out of North Carolina State. Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal covered the story completely:

“I was that kid that was annoying as hell and kind of just, wherever he went I tried to follow, the places that I could go, and just trying to get as much information… And even during games just talking to him about stuff that he saw about certain things. Obviously not all the time cause the game’s a little different, but I was one of those guys that kind of tried to be a sponge.”

As for Brady telling him to back off or leave him alone?

“He probably did but I probably still said something to him…”

Browns missing laundry list of players from Wednesday’s practice

The list of players missing from practice today is not short.

As the Cleveland Browns try to get back on the right track this weekend at FirstEnergy Stadium, they were missing a plethora of players from Wednesday’s practice. While defensive ends Jadaveon Clowney and Myles Garrett, as well as wide receiver Amari Cooper and right guard Joel Bitonio all sat out with a scheduled rest day, they were also missing five other players.

Cornerback Greg Newsome and safety D’Anthony Bell are still working through the concussion protocol, now starting center Hjalte Froholdt and safety Ronnie Harrison were out with an illness, and tight end David Njoku is still nursing his ankle. Wyatt Teller, Jedrick Wills, and Perrion Winfrey were all limited as well.
