SWARM Collective expands with new vodka for consumers

After raising $30,000 quickly with its SWARM Golden Ale, now there’s SWARM vodka consumers can purchase to support Iowa athletics.

If you loved the SWARM Golden Ale, you’re going to love this!

Iowa’s SWARM Collective found the perfect way to raise NIL funds by providing the fans just what they wanted, an Iowa-themed beer. The SWARM Golden Ale was created by Exile Brewing Co. in partnership with Iowa’s SWARM Collective and has been a massive success.

Exile Brewing Co. reported that since the beer hit the shelves at the beginning of July, they have already donated $30,000 back to the SWARM Collective. With every purchase, 20% of the revenue gets donated, so you better believe that these four-packs have been flying off the shelves.

Fans asked for it, and now it’s here! Expanding the University of Iowa’s presence in the alcohol market, it was announced on Friday afternoon that the SWARM Vodka has officially been released. In partnership with Foundry Distilling Co. in West Des Moines, Iowa, 25% of all sales will head to the Iowa SWARM Collective.

As reported by David Eickholt of Hawkeye Insider with 247Sports, Brad Heinrichs, the CEO of Iowa’s SWARM Collective, talked about this unique opportunity.

“NIL has created a new landscape for college athletics, and this is a unique opportunity to generate passive revenues for the Swarm Collective,” Brad Heinrichs, CEO of Iowa Swarm said. “We hope that Iowa fans will pridefully consume this beverage knowing that they are also assisting the efforts of the Swarm.”

The newly-released adult beverage can be found at Fareway Grocery, HyVee and Kum and Go. With the success of the SWARM Golden Ale, and the demand for this vodka product, will we see the SWARM Collective expand into any other alcohol markets?

Exile Brewing Co. partnership has already raised Iowa’s SWARM Collective thousands

SWARM Golden Ale is a hit with Hawkeyes fans! The Exile Brewing Co. partnership has brought in more than $30,000 to Iowa’s SWARM Collective.

Is there a fanbase in America that tailgates better, longer, and in support of their teams more than the fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes? If there is, I am still searching for that fanbase due to how high the Hawkeyes fans have set the bar.

The newest evidence of how supportive Iowa fans are of their athletics and having a good time is the early success of SWARM Golden Ale. The beer was created by Exile Brewing Co. in partnership with Iowa’s SWARM Collective in an effort to raise NIL funds.

Exile Brewing Co. reported that since the beer hit the shelves at the beginning of July, sales have absolutely taken off. With 20% of the revenue heading to the Iowa SWARM Collective, there is plenty of NIL money to go around. In the first month, Exile Brewing Co. has already donated $30,000 back to the SWARM.

The most impressive part of this may be that the initial release was only in four packs. The 12-packs are slated to begin hitting the shelves imminently and should continue to see this beer take off. As we near football season, expect another increase in sales as Hawkeye fans buy up SWARM Golden Ale to gear up for tailgates and to continue to support their athletic department.

SWARM Golden Ale is going to be available in Kinnick Stadium and that should mean another skyrocketing of sales as fans can buy it while in attendance. There is also a vodka partnership coming in the near future that will only expand Iowa’s NIL footprint as they are at the forefront of these initiatives.

So, as the saying goes, “In heaven there is no beer, that’s why we drink it here!”

SWARM collective inks deal with Exile Brewing to promote Iowa Hawkeyes’ NIL efforts

In heaven there is no beer! Even more fitting now that Iowa’s SWARM collective will work with Exile Brewing on a golden ale to support NIL.

Saturday tailgates at Kinnick for the Iowa Hawkeyes are already as good as it gets. Toss in an exclusive beer to support the Hawkeyes’ NIL collective and you are in business.

As reported by On3’s Tom Kakert of Hawkeye Report, it was just announced that Iowa’s SWARM collective has signed a deal with Exile Brewing to produce “Swarm Golden Ale.” The partnership returns 20% of the sales revenue back to the collective. This is a move to help increase the influx of funds to the collective to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of name, image, and likeness in college athletics.

The SWARM collective and Exile Brewing plan to have this beer ready for the 2023 season and it is expected to hit shelves in July. This move allows stores, fans, and bars in Iowa City and around the state to get their hands on the product and have ample supply before the season kicks off.

This is one example of Iowa’s NIL effort to do everything in its power to introduce new ideas to raise funds with the increasing need for them but also be able to provide something to the fans and supporters in return for their contributions.

In heaven there is no beer, that’s why we drink it here (and to now support Iowa athletes through name, image, and likeness).
