Klay Thompson channels Will Ferrell’s ‘Semi-Pro’ character Jackie Moon with behind-the-back trick shot.

While he stars alongside LeBron James and Bugs Bunny on the big screen in “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” Klay Thompson channeled another famous movie character at a recent workout.

While donning a headband, the Golden State Warriors shooting guard attempted a behind-the-back shot that clanked off the backboard. However, on the second attempt, Thompson made it count. The three-time NBA champion drilled the behind-the-back shot.

After dropping in his trick shot, Thompson celebrated by cheering out a name from a Will Ferrell-led film. The five-time All-Star called out Ferrell’s character Jackie Moon from the basketball movie “Semi-Pro.” Thompson shared the video on his Instagram (@KlayThompson).

Going back since 2018, Thompson has been a fan of Moon. Prior to a game at Oakland’s Oracle Arena, the Washington State product showed up to the arena wearing a full Flint Tropics uniform.
