The New York Islanders (18-20-7) travel to meet the Seattle Kraken (16-32-4) Tuesday at Climate Pledge Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+/Hulu). Below, we look at the Islanders vs. Kraken odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.
The Islanders have dropped four of their last five games, including a 3-2 shootout loss Sunday in Montreal. New York will have revenge on its mind, as it fell 3-0 at home to the Kraken Feb. 2 prior to the All-Star break.
The Kraken jumped out to a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes in Vancouver Monday, but they allowed 4 unanswered goals to suffer a 5-2 loss. Seattle heads into this one just 1-4 in its last five games when playing on no rest.

Islanders at Kraken odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Islanders 4, Kraken 2
Money line
The ISLANDERS (-150) are moderate favorites on the road in this revenge game. The Krakenhaven’t fared very well in the second end of back-to-back sets, going 1-4 in the last five when playing on no rest. Seattle beat New York in the first-ever meeting two weeks ago, but it’s not going to happen again.
Against the spread
The ISLANDERS -1.5 (+165) are worth a small-unit play in this battle against the Kraken. Expect Seattle’s legs to be tired after a tough game in Vancouver Monday which didn’t exactly go its way.
New York has just three wins through eight games in February, but each of the wins was by 2 or more goals. If you like the Isles to win, you should like them on the puck line.
Over/Under
OVER 5.5 (+100) is a decent play at even money. The Over has cashed in four of the last five road games for the Isles and is 5-0 in their last five as road favorites. The Over is 4-0 in the past four home games for the Kraken, while going 5-1 in their last six games overall.
