Pain.
We have our third compelling schedule leak of the day. There’s still no confirmation that the Seahawks will be facing the 49ers in the nightcap game on Thanksgiving. However, we do know that they’ll visit the Giants for a Monday Night Football matchup in Week 4. This latest nugget suggests that the first rumor might be true, too.
According to Seattle’s criminally underrated wide receiver and as-yet unproven sports journalist Tyler Lockett, his sources say the team will be playing back to back Thursday games at some point this season and have three games total in 12 days.
According to my sources Seahawks have back to back Thursday games. 3 games in 12 days! @qdiggs6

Some of his teammates don’t like the sound of it. Here’s Bobby Wagner and Quandre Diggs commiserating in Lockett’s replies.
Sick! Cant be real

Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be the case, as it will cause havoc for the players’ recovery process.
We will learn the truth in about six hours when the full 2023 schedule is released.

The all-time series between these two teams is tied at 10-10.
Leaks have been slow to come for the Seattle Seahawks regarding their 2023 regular season schedule, which will be released in full this evening.
So far the biggest rumor going around is they will face the San Francisco 49ers in the last of three games on Thanksgiving, but there has been no confirmation or official reporting from reliable sources on that as of yet.
However, there is one leak that should be good to go. According to multiple sources and confirmed by Giants Wire editor Dan Benton, Seattle will visit the New York Giants in Week 4 for a Monday Night Football matchup.
The Giants of course visited Seattle last season, with the Seahawks coming out on top, 27-13. Geno Smith threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns, while Seattle’s defense limited Saquon Barkley to just 53 yards on 20 rushing attempts – by far their best effort in a poor season for run defense.

That’s why we are projecting four prime-time games for Seattle this coming season.
The 2023 NFL regular season schedule will be rolled out tomorrow night with all the usual fanfare. The Seahawks used to be virtually guaranteed the maximum five prime-time games per season, but last year they only appeared in two.
First, they opened the regular season with a thrilling one-point win at home against the Broncos on Monday Night Football, then in December they hosted a Thursday night game, ending in another humiliating loss to the 49ers. Seattle also faced Tampa in Munich, which had an international audience but wasn’t technically prime-time.
However, when the 2022 schedule was made most folks thought this team was going to be a bust as the post-Russell Wilson era began. Now we know better and fans should expect more time in the national spotlight. That’s why we are projecting four prime-time games for Seattle this coming season. Here’s who we think they’ll be facing for each matchup.
With the regular season over, we now know which teams Seattle will be playing next year.
The 2022 NFL regular season is over, and the Seattle Seahawks are on their way to the playoffs. They also hold a top-five pick in the draft, making the outlook for the 2023 campaign look very bright no matter how Sunday’s wild-card game turns out.

Here is what the rest of Seattle’s regular season schedule looks like.
The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) sit atop the NFC West heading into their bye week. That’s better than anybody thought they’d be coming into this season – in fact most projections had them only winning five or six games all year. Their unexpected success has set them up for something that seemed unthinkable before the games began: a legitimate chance at a playoff run.
So, what do Pete Carroll, Geno Smith and the gang have to do to get there? Let’s take a look at the road ahead to find out. Here is what the rest of Seattle’s regular season schedule looks like.

The Seahawks will play their first preseason game of the year one month from today.
The Seahawks will play their first preseason game of the year one month from today. Let’s continue getting ready for the 2022 season by ranking each of the quarterbacks they’ll likely face this year – including two different potential starters for an NFC West rival.
For this exercise we’re assuming Jimmy Garoppolo will still be with the 49ers when the games begin and will start against Seattle in Week 2. However, we expect Garoppolo to get dealt before the trade deadline, opening up Trey Lance to start against the Seahawks in Week 15. Since we have so little to go on for Lance’s game at this time we’re putting him at the bottom of our list.
The Seattle Seahawks will have a tough go of it in 2022, no matter who starts at quarterback.
