Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Kansas State

Roll Tide Wire’s staff predictions and analysis for Alabama vs. Kansas State.

[autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to take on the Kansas State Wildcats in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Saturday in New Orleans.

In what has been a somewhat disappointing season for the Crimson Tide, they can end it on a high note with a Sugar Bowl victory over the Big 12 champs.

With a win, Alabama would finish with 11 wins on the season which would make for consecutive season No. 12 of at least that many victories.

As we wrap up the 2022 football season, it is time for our last installment of the score predictions and analysis from the staff here at Roll Tide Wire.

Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Auburn

Roll Tide Wire’s staff predictions and analysis for Alabama vs. Auburn.

No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide is set to take on the Auburn Tigers in the annual Iron Bowl rivalry matchup. Saturday’s matchup will mark the 87th matchup between the two in-state programs.

[autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] will lead the Crimson Tide into Bryant-Denny Stadium while Auburn will be led by interim head coach Carnelle Cadillac Williams who has the Tigers playing above their heads.

The Iron Bowl always seems to deliver some memorable moments and I am not expecting anything different in this weekend’s matchup.

Before kickoff arrives let’s take a few moments to go over the score predictions and analysis from the staff here ar Roll Tide Wire.

Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Austin Peay

Roll Tide Wire’s staff predictions and analysis for Alabama vs. Austin Peay.

No. 8 Alabama is set to host the Austin Peay Governors on Saturday for its final non-conference matchup of the regular season.

I know the matchup is not likely to draw a lot of attention, but it doesn’t take away from the importance for the Alabama players.

Crimson Tide head coach [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] has made it clear throughout the week that the opponent should not dictate how the players prepare or execute.

Coach Saban even mentioned that one of his former star players, Bo Scarbrough, spoke to the team this week about recreating the culture that the current Alabama dynasty was built on.

Alabama should take care of the Governors rather easily before hosting the Auburn Tigers in the annual Iron Bowl.

Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Ole Miss

It’s Alabama vs. Ole Miss. It’s Nick Saban vs. Lane Kiffin. See the staff’s predictions and analysis!

An SEC West battle between two of the top twelve teams in the country is set to take place in Oxford on Saturday afternoon as No. 9 Alabama travels to Mississippi to take on No. 11 Ole Miss.

It’s always fun when [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and Lane Kiffin can go head-to-head on the headsets. Kiffin would love nothing more than to defeat his former boss for the first time and keep the Rebels’ chances of winning the SEC West alive. Coach Saban is looking to salvage the remaining of the season and finish the year with pride on a strong note.

Consistency is the name of the game for the Crimson Tide. In all phases of the game, consistency in performance has been the most troubling issue for the Tide. Let’s see how they respond following last week’s disappointing loss.

Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Texas

The staff at Roll Tide Wire dishes out their predictions for Alabama’s matchup with the Texas Longhorns.

Saturday’s matchup between Alabama and Texas is sure to receive plenty of attention across the country. [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Tide will travel to Austin to take on Steve Sarkisian, a former Saban assistant, and the Texas Longhorns.

As much attention as the master versus the disciple received, once the players step between the lines, those are the ones who will decide the outcome.

Alabama clearly is ahead of Texas when it comes to players on the field. You could make the argument that the 2022 squad is as talented a team that coach Saban has had in his time in Tuscaloosa.

Despite being a heavy road favorite over the Longhorns, the Crimson Tide has seemed to take this game and the opponent very seriously. We are likely to learn a great deal about this year’s version of the Tide come Saturday.

Staff predicts the game

Alabama (-19.5) Record ATS Winner Record Overall

Stacey Blackwood Alabama 1-0 Alabama 1-0
Sam Murphy Texas 0-1 Alabama 1-0

Texas has the honor of being the first team to score against Alabama; the Crimson Tide shut out Utah State in Week 1. There’s plenty of offensive power on this Longhorns team to test the Alabama defense, but it’s far too young in crucial positions to do damage against an experienced Crimson Tide defense. Bryce Young and the offense will likely have some fun against the Texas secondary. I don’t anticipate too much action from running back Jahmyr Gibbs after the Longhorns’ defensive front flexed some muscles against Week 1 opponent Louisiana-Monroe.

Despite demolishing Utah State last week, this Alabama team still seems hungry. Bryce Young, Will Anderson, and the rest of the Tide are eager to prove that last season’s failure is a thing of the past. With the opportunity on a national stage, I expect the Tide to make a statement against the Longhorns.

Sam Murphy

The Crimson Tide looked like the best team in the country in Week 1 as they easily covered the massive 41.5-point spread against Utah State. Alabama is not known to shy away from big games, while the Longhorns still have a lot of questions to answer. How will Ewers look in a real game? Can Sarkisian keep up with Saban? How will the Texas offensive line stop Will Anderson and Dallas Turner? I think Texas has too many questions, and the Tide have all the answers. Tide run away with this one.

Brody Smoot

Alabama has been waiting to make a statement ever since the loss to Georgia in the College Football Playoff. This will be its first opportunity, and it is a very good one. I fully expect the Crimson Tide to click on all cylinders on the offensive side of the ball. Traeshon Holden, Kobe Prentice and Jermaine Burton all had big games last week, and the expectation is that it will continue into Week 2’s matchup. I also expect the defense to create substantial pressure and limit the Longhorns’ explosive offense. In the end, Alabama is too much to handle on offense on Saturday afternoon.
