But when that offensive output comes from one player? From one game?

Yep, UCLA commit Roderick Robinson II is not your typical back — made evident by the power and the breakaway speed the Lincoln (San Diego, Calif.) talent displayed during his record-setting night on the ground.

Auburn RB target Roderick Robinson locks in commitment date

Auburn fans will want to tune in.

One of Auburn’s top running back targets is nearing the end of his recruitment.

Three-star running back [autotag]Roderick Robinson II[/autotag] will announce his college decision on May 26 at 10 PT, Greg Biggins of 247Sports announced. The decision will be broadcasted on CBSSports HQ.

Robinson is from San Diego, California, and will be deciding between, Auburn, Arizona, California, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA, Georgia, and Texas A&M. In-state UCLA is seen as the favorite to land Robinson, receiving the lone Crystal Ball prediction.

The three-star running back visited Auburn on May 4. He is ranked as the No. 413 overall player and No. 28 running back in the 247Sports Composite ranking.

Measuring in at 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds he is a physical running back who is not afraid of contact. He showcased his physicality during a productive junior season at Lincoln High School, rushing for 1,273 yards and 17 touchdowns on 185 carries.

Vols’ 2023 running back target from San Diego sets a commitment date.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2023 running back prospect Roderick Robinson II on Jan. 27.

“After a great conversation with Jason Carter and Coach (Joey) Halzle, I’m please to announce that I have been offered a scholarship to the University of Tennessee,” Robinson announced. “I’m truly honored!”

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound running back is from Lincoln High School in San Diego, California.

Robinson announced plans for upcoming visits and a commitment date for his recruitment process.

“First and foremost, I want to give thanks to God for his many blessings and all he’s doing in my life,” Robinson said. “Without him, none of this would be possible.

“After discussing it with my parents, I have decided that I will take a few unofficial visits in March and June. I will also take three official visits in June. I am setting my commitment date for Aug. 18, 2022. My recruitment is still 100 percent open.”
