Rockets at Thunder: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Rockets 113, Thunder 104
Money line (ML)
The Rockets (-280) should be able to win the second end of this two-game set with the Thunder but the fact Wall is sidelined doesn’t make me feel like tossing up more than two and a half times my potential return. PASS, and look to the spread.
Against the spread (ATS)
The ROCKETS -6.5 (-110) roughed up the Thunder by a 136-106 score in the front end of the back-to-back Monday, but can they do it without Wall in the backcourt? His absence is offset with the Thunder missing Gilgeous-Alexander. I still like the visitors to pick up the road cover, but it won’t be nearly as easy as the first meeting.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 222.5 (-110) is definitely the play here. Wall dropped 18 points last time, and he is out. SGA dropped 19 for the home side, and he is also on the shelf. That’s a big chunk of offense in street clothes. After 242 total points in the first game, this second installment isn’t suddenly going to look like the pre-shot clock era, but you can expect a more reasonable total south of 220.
