Colts’ Rock Ya-Sin (hip/ankle) ruled OUT vs. Jaguars

Colts CB Rock Ya-Sin (hip/ankle) has been ruled OUT vs. the Jaguars.

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Rock Ya-Sin suffered hip and ankle injuries during the Week 18 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and has been ruled out.

During the defense’s first drive of the game, Ya-Sin was down on the turf on a play in which Kenny Moore II recorded a tackle for loss. It isn’t clear what happened to Ya-Sin, but he very gingerly walked off the field.

Ya-Sin was then carted to the locker room, after being evaluated on the sidelined. He was ruled out in the second quarter.

The Colts are already down Xavier Rhodes due to a hamstring injury so the cornerback room continues to get thin.

Colts activate LG Quenton Nelson, 4 others from COVID-19 list

The Colts activated 5 players from the COVID-19 list, including Big Q.

The Indianapolis Colts activated five players from the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Wednesday.

Thanks to the new protocols the NFL is using, the Colts are likely to have several of their players return from the COVID-19 list. It’s not a guarantee that all of them will, but the chance of having most of them return is high this week—provided they are asymptomatic.

Head coach Frank Reich told the media that he expects more players to be activated in the coming days.

As the Colts look to clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 17, here are the five players that were activated on Wednesday.

Colts’ reserve/COVID-19 list: Which players are currently sidelined?

Here are the Colts’ players currently on the COVID-19 entering Week 17.

The Indianapolis Colts got bit hard by the COVID-19 bug as several starters were placed on the reserve list during the Week 16 prep ahead of the matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Even though the Colts overcame those issues to pull out a 22-16 win on the road, there is still a high chance that some of these players who are currently on the list will remain there throughout Week 17.

Some of the players who were placed on the list earlier last week have a chance to return and the Colts will take what they can get at this point. There’s also a chance players are added to and taken off of this list on Monday so we’ll keep it updated throughout the day.

Here’s a quick look at the eight Colts currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list entering Week 17:

Stock report from Colts’ 38-31 loss to Bucs

Evaluating stock from the Colts’ 38-31 loss to the Bucs in Week 12.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-6) suffered a tough loss at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, falling 38-31 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-3).

Though this is a game the Colts could (and should) have won, a lack of a true consistent pass rush along with some ill-timed turnovers during the second half led to the disappearance of a 10-point lead coming out of halftime.

Even in the disappointing loss, there were some positive trends and negative trends on both sides of the ball.

Here’s the stock report from the Week 12 loss:

6 Colts who raised their stock in the upset win over Bills

These six Colts saw their stock rise in the 41-15 win over the Bills.

In what was a wild, dominating win, the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) went on the road to Highmark Stadium on Sunday and upset the Buffalo Bills (6-4) by a score of 41-15 in Week 11.

It was a statement game for the Colts, who had yet to beat an opponent with a winning record this season. Not only did they win, but they also dominated in nearly every facet of the game. From Jonathan Taylor’s historic game to the defense clamping down on a strong Bills passing attack, it was an extraordinary effort from Indy.

Here are six Colts who raised their stock in the Week 11 win.

Stock report from the Colts’ win in Week 10 over the Jaguars.

The Indianapolis Colts (5-5) found a way to survive the trap game against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) with a 23-17 win at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.

Throughout the game, there were plenty of highs and a number of lows on both sides of the ball. Some players saw their stock rise with a strong performance while others failed to help their case moving forward.

Studs and duds from the Colts’ 23-17 win over the Jaguars.

The Indianapolis Colts (5-5) got their record back to even with a slim divisional victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Despite their early lead in the first quarter, the Colts couldn’t find a way to finish the game in a dominating way. Later on, they would wind up getting some clutch plays on both sides of the ball that helped them put the game away.
